Colored Pencils 150 Unique Colors (No Duplicates) Art Drawing Colored Pencils Set with Case

This is one of the nicest sets of pencils, I have purchased. I do think it ranks up there with my Prismacolors (almost). I decided to purchase the set of 150, as I do a lot of grayscale and Prismacolors are a bit opaque for some of the gray to come through. I received these via my postoffice and, the day they were delivered, it was bright and sunny and in the middle of the day it began to storm and it poured. My boxes were sitting on the front step and were complete soaked when I got home from work. I also ordered 3 new books. I got them in the house and the outer carton just fell apart from sitting in a pool of water. To my surprise the pencils were in an airtight cellophane wrapping, and were completely dry! my books did not fair so well. Inside that was a brown box, suitable for wrapping, and inside that, the pencils in the box you see. It is constructed of laminated cardboard like a cigar box, and all of the trays are too. The trays also have small tabs at each end to remove them from the carton. Very nice. The pencils are not labeled with color, but only a number and they are not in any order at all. My pencils were in great shape, a few chipped points and one broke, as I was sorting them, but perfect other than that. The pencils themselves are great, they are smooth and easy to color with, so many colors to choose, I love them. I would rank them as the best inexpensive set, I've ever purchased. Very happy with this find! One thing, is the smell, its a chemical, varnish type smell, but I took the advise of another buyers review and just let them sit open for a day or two and now its not near as bad.

Very nice set of pencils! Color is rich, goes down well, blends great. This is my second set as I was impressed with the first set of 120 and wanted to get the larger set. Both sets have a good range of colors (see 2 pics). The only problem I had was with the horrible smell when I first opened the box (both sets) and had to air out in a spare room for a couple weeks. I will purchase these again.

I love these pencils! I bought these to replace a cheaper beginners set of colored pencils. The difference in quality is amazing! The colors are intense and the variety of colors is great. My only complaint is that I really don't like the packaging, it's noisy and kind of inconvenient to use. I would recommend getting a soft case to hold these pencils; I did, and I couldn't be happier with these pencils.

Sudee Stile pencil crayons arrived on Friday June 16th. At $31.99 USD plus free shipping in the United States they are excellent value. These wax based pencils, sturdier than Prisma Premiere. They sharpen easily. The hexagon barrels are comfortable. The colours lay down with ease and blend well with Gamsol.Overall, I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because the pencils have a colour number no name. Plus some colours that are repeated with a new number. The pencils are arranged by number 1-150 in three trays with 2 handheld sharpeners. I grouped the colours together to make a swatch chart. In my set I received two #146 pencils and no #143 colour. I emailed [email protected] on June 16th. They have not replied yet.These pencils offer a lot more lovely colours than Raffiné Marcos. There is a good selection of greens and only a few greys. There is a wonderful light green almost white. Missing from the set is light pink, baby blue, sky blue. Overall, these pencils are a fantastic. I'm attaching photos. The lotus buds and water drops were coloured with Sudee Stile, blended with Gamsol on a q-tip. I would buy these pencils again in a heartbeat.

Wanted to like these - but just couldn't despite the wide range of colors which they appear to have.First of all opened the box to try them out as they were for a gift for my niece to use when coloring with me and PHEW! WHAT A SMELL!!!! OMG...There is NO way are these non-toxic. I decided to try using them for a small design and within 20 minutes I had a migraine and nausea coming on!Secondly:The colors are NOT all different. I invited my niece over to help me draw a color chart just to see if she had a problem with the smell before I gave them to her for her birthday - no point in doing THAT if she had an allergic reaction to them as well, and sure enough she got a headache too!!! AND when we finished the chart lo-and-behold several of the colors are practically identical...so the 150 colors are really misleading. THAT is one of the issues with there not being named colors on the pencils and NO COLOR CHART with the box!?!?! No color chart available from the company either - and I looked several places online - and called their 800 number. NOPE - no list of colors.Third:The tips on several pencils were either chipped or broken off and none were laying in the trays?!? What is up with that? That means they were broken before they were shipped! Dudes! Not cool. They broke them in the factory during the manufacturing process before they went in the trays. That doesn't bode well for how the product will hold up within the casing for later sharpening...which I haven't tried yet.Lastly:The color doesn't lay down with very much pigment - not even as well as my Marcos which was so disappointing. They were very light and scratchy...not smooth and silky which some other reviewers had described - BUT several of those reviews were from last year when the pencils were solid color and came in that round plastic tub - not the silver pencils with the colored ends in the box like all the 'Marco Rafine' Chinese type knockoffs are. I think these might be from a different process mfr and so not the same pencils at all!! I am seriously bummed. I was so looking forward to liking these pencils.BTW I have now had them open for 4 days and the smell is still as strong as it was when I first opened the box. SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY IMO
