User note: the directions on the package I got tell you to "remove the seal cap". Ignore that. The bag hanger and seal cap are the same thing; the product is packaged with the hanger/seal cap already unattached. If you take off the next cap, you will suck up the rubber piece that holds the air in when you turn off the vacuum, and air will leak back in.Just load the bag, zip it up, vacuum the air out, and THEN screw on the hanger/seal cap. I did not have any issues with laying the bag down and loading the bag that way vs. loading it while hanging, so the position of the vacuum seal wasn't a big deal to me.So far the bags are as advertised and work as expected. They are also about half the price of other bags I have. If I have any issues with them staying compressed, I will update.Update: It's now been over 2 weeks, and every bag is sealed and sucked up tight. No leak problems with any of the 5 bags. Will order again. Can't beat for price and quality.

I've purchased 10 so far. I think $5 per bag is more within reason. The plastic hangers Internal and external are not very strong and flex so there is a limit to what you can hang.Some seal well, others I'm just using more for dust and I'm not worried about the small air leaks...so to that point 5 per bag seems more reasonable. I would like one final set to cover my clothes for moving. I've had to divide heavier jackets/suits between several bags, so I used them up quicker than I projected. Overall, they meet my needs, the plastic seems fairly thick, so I'm not worried about rips/tears.

These are amazing! I admit I didn't expect much — in my experience, vacuum-seal storage has never worked very well. Not anymore! The ingenious open/close valve at the top of the bag seals like a charm and is easily operated. The compression (you use your vacuum cleaner to suck out the air) is incredible and wonder of wonders, it stays compressed! The bag has an interior hanging gadget on which you hang your items' hangers. I used all kinds of hangers, too, from wire up to huge wooden suit hangers. While I probably overloaded the little plastic hanger place in mine, the bag still held everything I gave it and performed perfectly! Five bags held (for me, anyway) about six (6) linear feet of jammed in coats, suits, dresses, sweatshirts, and various other clothing I had stored in a too-small closet. Five bags — sucked down to less than ONE linear foot!!! I could not be more pleased with these Storage Army hanging bags!

I don't know about how well these work because I haven't used mine yet but these are much slimmer than I thought, they are meant for maybe 2 articles of clothing. Not what I was looking for. I thought, from the image, that all four of those coats fit into one storage bag but now I believe that each coat has it's on bag.

The delivery was great, they came at the earlier end of the expected time frame. The ones that work (3 out of the 5) work perfectly, however 2 out of the 5 filled back up with air within 12 hours. I tried moving the tiny little red rubber seal and re-vacuuming it, but they still didn't work. Because 3 are currently filled with tons of stuff, it's not worth it to me to unpack and return the items, but I'm not purchasing from them again. My advice would be fill 1 at a time and make tp sure they all work.

I'm moving across country and needed to save space and didn't want to fold all my clothes into regular space bags so I thought I would try these hanging space bags and I am glad I did. I wasn't sure how many items they would hold securely but I got as many as 20 small items such as dress blouse's or t-shirts into one bag. I was then concerned about it hanging with that much weight but so far so good, I have had them hanging in my closet for about 2 weeks now and no problems. They have stayed sealed and the hook is strong. I would recommend and purchase again.

My only contention with this product is that the hanger is the valve to suction air. Also the hanger itself is smaller than the rods I have in my house, which feel standard...

They are ok but not great. the plastic hook to hang stuff on broke with 5 winter jackets. It should probably be made from something stronger in anticipation of winter clothes getting stored in these. Otherwise its fine.
