Hasegawa Lucano Step Stool, Wide 2, Orange

This is not a cheap step ladder by any means, but our has to sit out in plain sight in the kitchen so I wanted something attractive. It's perfect for quickly grabbing to reach a high shelf. The design is pretty genius - very sturdy, and large platform on the top. Not super light but easy to carry around. Only thing to watch out for is it can snap closed right as the two legs are almost closed together, so have to watch your fingers.

It's always sitting in my kitchen, and I'm happy just seeing it. It's amazing that it is an art piece as well as an functional tool. I would recommend buying this wide version compared to the other one with narrower steps. The other one is more stylish (I think) but but I'm glad I chose this one because this one is way more stable. This has a good balance of style and functionality.

We rennovated our bathroom. When our designer shared photos of the project with her collegue, the collegue's reply was "Where did they get that stepper!". It really is attractive . Love how it stands alone when folded so that's how I store it. Them, actually. I now have two. One shorter and fatter for the bathroom. The other taller and thinner for the laundry room

We needed a step ladder for high shelves and cupboards, but wanted something that could be a display piece at the same time, and the Hasegawa Lucano step ladder is it. In fact it looks so good that we've parked it in the living room next to a sofa, so it can double as a stool to sit on, or as a drinks table, when not needed as a step ladder. The opening and closing mechanism feels solid and makes it a breeze to lift up and move when needed. The red color looks even better in real life than in the pics. Recommended!

I love the looks of this step ladder, and it is very secure. My reason for giving it 4 * rather than 5 is because the first step is very narrow, so I don’t feel as secure as I would hope. I understand the mechanics of why the step is so narrow...in order to maintain the silhouette, but I think it’s something you have to get used to because it absolutely is sturdy. The top step, of course, is twice the width, so it feels very secure. I’m sure that after having if for a while, the feeling of the step being narrow will pass.

I really love this silly little stool. It's nice enough that you don't need to hide it. Somewhat on the heavier side but it folds away fairly compactly and it balances nicely when folded. I use it to reach the upper shelves in my rather tall kitchen and it's fulfilled it's role in making them usable where previously you had to parkour onto the counter.

I have several of these ladders in different heights. I have no way to hide a ladder in my cabin, and this is so attractive when folded. (I have the black one in my cabin.) I keep a red one in my walk-in closet. The short one in white looks great unfolded next to my Euro white lacquered kitchen cabinets. High quality and beautiful for a ladder!

Extremely well made. Highly recommend, though it is a bit pricey.
