I have had this underwater at varying depths. The last time was at 70 feet underwater for about an hour.
I scuba dive a lot and I use this as my back up flash light in my drysuit pocket on my dives, I have had this underwater a varying depths. The last time was at 70 feet underwater for about an hour. It works underwater, so even when you twist the head of the light to turn it on, no water gets inside even at over three times the water surface pressure. I have seen divers with very expensive $1000 dollar dive lights with battery canisters, for the life of me, I do not understand why they spend so much money for those when this throws the light a good distance underwater in low visibility when they can get a l dive light for an exceptional price with rechargeable batteries, as long as you charge it after every dive trip you should be good.

Tough Little Bright Light!
This is an awesome and bright tactical light. Very bright I would say. I have not tried it in water but based on it's construction I believe it can handle itself. It has been kind of tight and a little difficult to turn on but I believe with use this will loosen up. It comes with an excellent arm strap and a tough little case. It also has a battery charger in the case which is a plus! I have no idea how long this will last while on but I believe it will last a while as I have yet to have to charge it. Very impressed with this purchase and will keep it in my car to have bright light whenever needed. Highly recommended!

Nice little light
Nice little light, but didn't come witth the rechargeable battery, as listed in the description. Also, says that the light needs to be turned on before you enter the water and not turned off until you get out, due to the fact that rotating the head to turn the light on/off, may cause it to leak. This would also means that you can't, or shouldn't, switch between light modes underwater. Because you change modes by rotating the light head off/on multiple times to switch from high, low, strobe or SOS.

Charger doesn't charge the battery
Worked great until the battery died for the first time. It never charged after that. Would have returned it, but due to the vacation I missed the return window. It also got really hot. Even under spring feed water I could still notice the heat coming from this light. I am assuming that is what caused the battery issue.I would pass on this flashlight.

Junk
Absolutely disappointed not only in lack of brightness but the almost immediate corrosion all over the outside after only 5 dives. Used on the same dives and rinsed/cleaned in the same manner as a different and older light that has not shown any wear or corrosion after 20X more dives. The light also flickered at times and had to hit it again something to make it stop. Picture for comparison.

NOT1000 LM
This is NOT 1000 LM. I have another light that is 500, and put both side by side. The 500 LM is actually brighter than this one.

Not recommended for scuba
Suffered from extreme corrosion on outside of housing. Light would not funtion underwater but it did not leak. Not recommended for scuba.

Two Stars
Ok as a back up flashlight, but it has not enough light penetration for night diving.
