HFD2-GREAT Company; Innovative Products!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just a jam nut. Yes, that's true. But, one note about the nut and one about the company. I got this from them directly so I don't show up as a verified purchaser. BTW, I HIGHLY recommend checking out their website and other line of products. You WON'T be sorry!1) This nut is precision made with a great finish. If you haven't used a jam nut, WHAT THE HECK IS THE MATTER WITH YOU????!!!!! Sweet GOODNESS these things save time, hassles and headaches! No more indexing and wasting time with crush washers, only to have to remove the device to rejigger with some mystical combo of washers trying to get it to align perfectly. The Octogon (where Rex perfected Rexkwondo! "Bow to your Sensei!") shape is really handy, allowing a purchase from virtually any angle, meaning less wrestling with a wrench, meaning less stress and frustration, meaning a happier husband and father and a productive employee! THAT'S RIGHT!!! This nut MAY JUST BE your ticket to a great promotion! That's on!y $6-7, right? But seriously, this is a great product that you need! It's a part you will wonder how you got along without all these years. ;)2) The COMPANY is AMAZING!!!! Call them up and chat. Ask them about their designs, guns, or whatever. One of the most knowledgeable, courteous, and friendliest bunch of people I've ever chatted with. I would not hesitate to buy anything from this company. In fact, I also have a muzzle device from their website that will be part of a large "shoot out" of inexpensive devices, testing for gems among the bargains--I refuse to believe that only muzzle devices that cost as much as a barrel are any good. I was skeptical at first, but when I got the device in hand, I could see the level of design, planning, and forethought that went in to not only make it tacticool (and yes, it is an amazing work of ferocious functional art), but also practical, with porting designed to be more considerate of the guy next to you, as well as offering some aggressive styling for breaching, poking holes in foreheads, and, I suspect, helping mitigate flash. It's not a flash hider, but I suspect it doesn't spew flame like some of the $100+ devices. Be on the lookout on Al Gore's Amazing Internet for that in-depth review examining HFD2's device and others, coming "soon." I strongly expect their device will perform very well!
