Certainly for people who find in-ear headphones to be too isolating from their surroundings. They stay put and work well for phone calls too. They’re not perfect though. The sound is never going to be as good as and over-the-ear or in-the-ear style. You certainly don’t get a very rich sound from them, and they don’t go very loud - but they’re more than adequate. The other thing is to be aware that the strap/loop at the back sticks proud of the back of the head and if wearing a bulky hood, pushes against it. Fine with a cycling helmet and neck gaiter though. The charger has a really nice magnetic connection and charges quickly. The buttons take a bit of getting used to though, especially when being worn. They’re a bit small and fiddly. They’re excellent at what they do.
