Magnetic Door Stop Catch,Stainless Steel Brushed Door Stopper Floor Mount

Bought for new swinging pantry door. Was easy to install and small enough that it could be installed at handle height, top, or bottom without issue. I opted for top because I didn’t want attachments on both sides of floor. Have used for a couple days now and it works well. Magnetic strength is better than expected. Door was actually a little hard to open before I installed handle (not impossible it’s not too strong). Opens and closes easily and now door stays closed in line with door frame.

I have at least a half dozen of these now in my home. Each one takes about 3 minutes, tops, to install and they are simple and effective at holding the doors in place, out of the way. Great design, stylish and well done.

Does the job - the magnet is fairly powerful, holds my outside patio door open even in a stiff breeze. It's fairly straightforward to install - you pretty much get what you see in the picture as far as sizes and height of the magnet go. (And a shim or two underneath is fairly standard and not hard to do if your door-to-floor height is excessive!)

Otherwise you'll have to do as I did, and craft a riser block for the latch to rest on, and get longer screws.That being said, it was worth the trouble. The magnet strength is just right. It holds the door open, preventing it from being slammed by the wind, but is easy to pull off the stop when closing the door. Small, unobtrusive and good looking. The manufacturer really should supply riser blocks of various sizes to make installation easier.

This product works really well and is quite strong. I bought it to hold a pretty heavy door in place and it is holding it with ease. I was quite surprised at how heavy and substantial the product is. I would recommend this product.

The magnet is not attached to the stop and is pretty weak. It pulled out and stuck to the washer on the door the first time I used it. So I used a neodium magnet I had and epoxied it in. Works much better now.

I installed this in the back of a pull out cabinet that holds my trash cans. I needed a good way to latch it closed and the cans are so high that the conventional latches would not fit. I placed this gem in the back of the cabinet and it latches onto the slide out rails that holds the garbage cans as they slide back in. Works great!

Living in an old house my doors have a tendency to close. But this solved that. I was looking for a low profile door stop, something that would blend in. I'll give the best review I can about this product. It easily attaches to the floor with screws. It easily attaches to the door with screws. "Hint" attach the floor stop first it's the magnetic part. Then touch the small metal disk to the magnet, close door to meet. Mark where the metal disk meets on back of door. Now open door remove metal disk from magnet, attach disk at your mark on door. Its that easy. It even works if the gap is wide from door to floor just make the adjustment. So if you need a stylish strong, easily mounted door stop. This ones for you.
