Wear your love with a set of two one-of-a-kind wood grain (mokume gane) rings. This listing includes two 4mm wide women's style ring bands. This ring is made from Silver and Copper Mokume Gane, a Japanese metalsmithing technique that emulates wood grain. The wood grain pattern on each ring is completely unique, and the pattern of the wood grain will match up on the two rings if you line them up next to each other. The inside of the ring is reinforced with a thick layer of silver to prevent contstant contact between copper and the skin. Made to order- please give exact ring sizes! Each ring is handmade: hand fabricated, sized, soldered, and hand finished in my one-woman home studio shop. Please note that the copper patina (the black part of the wood grain pattern) will naturally lighten and settle into a warm copper orangey-brown color. This process is completely normal and beautiful! It is part of the natural life cycle of your jewelry. If you want to protect the dark chocolate tone, spray with a couple of coats of waterproof lacquer and let dry (this process will have to be repeated occasionally as the coating will wear off). I do NOT spray my jewelry with any sort of chemical sealer for you, as I don't want to be responsible for those chemicals absorbing into your skin. All items come gift wrapped.
