Highly recommend, very high quality at an unbeatable price
Very well made and gets the job done. My employer refuses to purchase a good metal pair of scissors for me, forcing me to use a light duty and low quality pair of scissors that's uncomfortable and causes blisters to appear on my fingers, so I purchased these for my own personal use at work cutting open specimen bags. Highly recommend and for a price you just simply cannot beat. Very high quality, feels great and a comfortable fit in my hand while using. After using for a few weeks, the scissors are still just as sharp as ever, compared to the poor quality ones at work. Will purchase more of these in the near future.

Makes me feel like a seamstress again
These shears are just what you need for small projects. The length is good for short cuts (as they are only 8" long), substantial but not heavy. If you are cutting long seams, I would recommend getting the 10" or 12" shears to save time and hand labor. What's even better is these shears are almost half the price of the Gingher brand (of which I have a pair) and sharpening is much easier. I prefer these tailor scissors over my previous Gingher.

Nice weight and cuts well.
At first I was like these are too short, and then I ordered a longer pair. The longer pair were heavier and unwieldy.I have come to my sense, and embraced the length, and weight of these scissors. I can maneuver these easily, and they cut through fabric smoothly. And honestly I like that they are super bright and shiny.

Not bad for the price
Sturdy scissors. I got two pairs because they were cheap and I just needed scissors that were sturdier than a lot of flimsy plastic-handled office scissors are, but were also inexpensive since they'd be studio scissors for cutting things that I didn't want to use better shears for (like plaster bandages, fiberglass cloth, paper, plastic, etc.). So far, they're holding up.The only down side is the blades are super greasy when they arrive. Had to wash mine before using them. The oil comes off easily, so no big deal.

Grotesque, there is a huge nut to maintain the screw in place!
They are very thick, heavy, the screw is huge and long, and it is not well put, the ring in between is broken so the screw stands well above the plane of the scissors and there is a huge nut at the other side!! Scissors don't have nuts! The material is ok and they work well. They are not bad quality scissors, but the design is wrong. Besides they are not very stable as they lay over either the screw or the nut. I don't imagine using them for fabric but for reparing a car! They are pretty scary, gross... grotesque!

The scissors are VERY heavy
I was expecting a lighter in weight product...clumsy to use for that reason. Other wise good

Glad I found these!
Finally, strong and sturdy scissors. And they cut well, for my purposes, anyway! I had despaired of ever finding well made scissors ever again. I'm seriously debating buying a few, as these may well disappear from the market forever, as the goal these days of manufacturers is to make goods NOT TO LAST! Planned Obsolescence!

Sharp
I love the weight of these scissor in my hand, it lets me know that this product will last years. They cut my different fabrics for me folded many time over and have not let me down as of yet.
