I have mounted one on top of front bumper on 2012 Ford F150 that has terrible lights on both high and low beam that NTSB should get on Fords case the lights are a definite safety issue. Installation was easy. Bought aluminum bar stock Lowe's (got my veteran's discount HD rarely gives anymore). Cut to length drilled holes match up predrilled bumper, holes to align light mounting brackets, counter sunk for stainless screws so bar rested flat on bumper. Thanks to Ford is about impossible to isolate high beam current feed so bought DIGITEN ATM Add-a-Circuit Mini Fuse TAP Holder on Amazon adding fused circuit from fuse panel high beam slot. cut timey slit fire wall boot driver side pushed hot wire through looped through slim cotter pin routed under dash to fuse box on passenger side. Installed SPST switch removable panel under steering wheel mounting switch conveniently left of steering wheel below light switch. The light is awesome. Was going to put second under back bumper as BU lights are useless need ride brake to see back up as brake light shed more light than chincy, tiy BU lights. Was faster, easier to use existing bumper mounting bolts and install "Nilight LED Light Bar 4PCS 6.5Inch 36w Flood LED Work Light Off Road lights led bar" also purchased Amazon that now shed "daylight" when backing up.
