Dark Shadows: Yes, Another Misadventure (4) (The Chicken Squad) Hardcover – March 14, 2017

This book was interesting because some of the birds were funny and mature and the book has a great title and my favorite character was the bird with the glasses he was the one that was mature and the funny bird was the one who looked lazy that's why I love this book.

The Chicken Squad is back and going to a family reunion with JJ and Barbara. As they meet the relatives on the farm, a big mysterious chicken shows up but is not in the greeting line. Poppy's shoe goes missing so how will she sleep? Does the mystery chicken have something to do with the missing shoe? Why has no one told Sugar about all the jelly beans hiding places?The Chicken Squad is as dysfunctional as ever. Now they are under the watchful scrutiny of their extended family. It is a good thing Dirt is there to control Sugar or their detecting would get them in a whole lot of trouble. I love these chickens. JJ's narrative is great. I always feel I'm in a 1940's gumshoe novel. It's great.I look forward to more in this series. I never fail to laugh at their antics

My 9 year old daughter loved these stories. I love to hear her read them out load. There are little details that catch a parent as especially funny and clever. They are very fun and have a lot of imagination poured into a simple story line. I love how the author takes an "everyday event" and turns it into an epic adventure. I think this helps kids think outside the box in their own little lives and to turn the boring into fun.

LOVE IT!! My 8year loves this series and my husband teacher reads them to his 2nd and 3rd graders they really enjoy these books. BUY IT you won't be disappointed!!!

These books are a hit. Love the crazy adventures these chickens get into.

Fun story for my 7 years old daughter

I purchase these for my 6 year old grandson and he loves them.. I think he has everyone of them.
