You can't go wrong with these
We are doing an entire back yard renovation using raised beds and chose these for several reasons. We are using 50 of these beds (various sizes), all stacked double to make 12” deep beds. We purchased one for testing purposes and found they are easy to assemble and very sturdy, yet lightweight and easy to handle. We chose these over other raised bed options for their ease of assembly & installation, flexibility, excellent warranty, high quality & low price, durability – these will not rot as even redwood or cedar will over time – and clean, simple appearance. The white material does lack the warmth of wood but they will last much longer than wood and since the plants will trail over the edges of the planters this isn’t a concern for us. We didn’t seriously consider masonry beds due to the expense involved and the permanence of brick or stone installations. One day we’ll sell our house and future owners might want to do something different with the yard, and these beds will not be difficult to remove in that case.Another advantage is that these beds come in multiple sizes, enabling us to configure them in such a way as to utilize every bit of available space. Since we are planning an extensive food/herb/flower garden we needed as much planting space as possible. Our soil is a heavy, compact clay and after doing the math we found that amending the soil (labor and materials) would have been significantly more expensive than buying these beds plus the high-quality soil needed to fill them, so using the Handy beds is actually a cost-saver for us. We are placing the beds directly on the soil after only minimal leveling. So far about half are in place and have been a piece of cake to install. One final benefit, an important one, is that the seller (Cook Products) has absolutely the best customer service we’ve ever encountered, and we do most of our shopping online and have had our share of dealing with vendors. A couple of the beds arrived without screws (the boxes got a bit torn during shipping and we think the screws fell out) and when I contacted the company I got an immediate response. They shipped out not only replacement screws but an extra set as well; we had the replacements in hand within a couple of days. They are efficient, polite, and helpful. Our project is only about 40% complete as of now (2/27/17) but we are absolutely delighted and satisfied with our choice of the Handy beds. I can’t recommend them too highly.

Wobbly. Cheap. Not worth it.
These flop around like cardboard, don't feel sturdy, and I don't trust them to stand the test of time at all.

For the money it’s perfect for what I needed
I used this for a boarder by my deck. It looks great. A little flimsy but once u have it set up it serves its purpose and looks good

Can burst if freeze
After a year of use, I am revising my review. There were a few hard freezes this winter and the screws on thd box got pulled out of the sides. See photos.Very nice sturdy planter. The one draw back is that it is only 6 inches deep, so only 5 inches on soil. This will dry out quickly in the summer. I would prefer a 12 inch depth to staking two of these, which gets expensive.

Stackable beds in various sizes
The beds fit our needs very well. They look great and I like the idea that they are easy to clean. They can be added to which make them very versatile. So far we are very happy with them.

Works as expected.
Took some doing to get it level because the ground wasn't level, but worth the trouble. Backs up to a white vinyl trellis and it all looks like one unit.
