Nier: Automata Game Soundtrack

Beautiful soundtrack I love it

This is the best video game OST of all time, topping out my previous favorite Chrono Cross. Aside from not having the robotic adlib versions of Birth of a Wish and the other tracks on this one (I know they are on other official releases) this one is fantastic. I wound up purchasing this before purchasing the game and I got to say that this soundtrack is better than the game. Not knocking on the game whatsoever, because it is wonderful, it is just that for sheer entertainment, this music is a universe of it's own. Utterly phenomenal from the vocalists and every composition. There are many exciting tracks and it took months to really boil down my #1 favorite track but it has got to be Emil (Despair) tied with The Tower. Shoutouts to Dark Colossus and Wretched Weaponry and Amusement Park when it's on full blast.

Pros: Amazing soundtrack that, if you are reading this, you probably already know and love. The art on the 3 discs also looks amazing. Cons: The English Emil's shop is not included, which is a shame since I found it very entertaining. Also my product came in with a small crack on the upper right corner, but that's Amazon's fault. Overall it's really good and worth it if you are a fan, I just find it frustrating that I spend this much for a soundtrack and still have to go to YouTube to listen to a specific song.

The best game soundtrack in years - no surprise, honestly. Yoko Taro/Cavia Games' Drakengard/NieR series has its fair share of technically flawed games with a unique storytelling approach, but always distinctive and quality music. NieR: Automata continues the trend of excellent music and engrossing story, but with a PlatinumGames gameplay polish. This isn't a game review though, but rather a music one. Tracks in NieR: Automata range from melancholy to thunderous, excellently matched to their in-game sections with multiple variants - this OST blends multiple variants into a single track. It's telling that over a year after completing NieR: Automata, one of these songs can come up in my shuffle and evokes a memory of the game.

The Nier franchise has gorgeous soundtracks, and though most are available to stream on Spotify, the soundtrack for Nier Automata is worth buying and keeping as a physical CD. Emi Evans and J'nique Nicole provide ethereal vocals for the songs with lyrics in the game's fictional Chaos language. My favorite tracks are City Ruins - Rays of Light, City Ruins - Shade, A Beautiful Song, Emil (Despair), and Weight of the World.

Let me start off by saying that this is the best video game soundtrack I have ever heard! I bought this soundtrack because it's one of the best features from the game and I needed to have it. I ordered the album about a week ago with 2 day shipping. The album didn't come in until 5 days after I placed the order. That was a minor bummer, but when it did come in, I was upset to see a big crack down the middle of the case. Luckily when I called customer support as soon as I saw the damage, they helped me out big time by replacing it and over night shipping it to me. I just received the replacement and everything is ok with it, which is why I still give it 5 stars. I highly recommend buying this master piece of a soundtrack.

Its the same amazing soundtrack from the game. However the front of the cd case was cracked so im only giving a 4/5, so buyer beware. I ordered a replacement and it showed up completely fine.

Awesome music from an awesome game. I only wish the titles showed up in English as well as Japanese, because I have no idea what the titles of these songs are (except for one song that shows both).

If you loved listening to the music while playing the game, get this soundtrack. You won't be disappointed.

El juego cuenta con una magnífica banda sonora, variada y con temas que tocan sentimientos. Respecto a la edición física en sí, los artes de los CDs son excelentes, la portada y arte interno igual, sin dejar de mencionar el pequeño libro con tomas panorámicas que es grandioso. La única falla es que el empaque me llegó dañado.

Juste parfait, un item de plus pour ma collection de NieR

La banda sonora de este juego es buenísimas, gano el premio a la mejor banda sonora en los The Game Awards en 2021
