I've been looking for an easy to use, affordable microscope and telescope for a long time, and I've tried a few so I really impressed with this set. The price is brilliant for what you receive. They were easy to put together and start using, they felt strong and well put together but not heavy and clunky so my youngest could use it without difficulty or fear of breaking.It came with a little booklet which explains how both work as well as how to collect specimens and a bunch of fun facts that fascinated my 11 year old. I think best of all the set encourages a curious mind, everything is now 'I wonder what that would look like under the microscope' and I'm sure whether it's the telescope at night or the microscope during the day, they'll both get plenty of use.

Looked amazing but too difficult for 7 year old so had to return

We bought this set for our 7 yo daughter who is very science-minded. She is currently doing a project on life in the garden so the microscope has been brilliant for looking closely at different parts of plants and also for inspecting dead bugs which she has also come across! At some point next year her class will be looking at the solar system so this combo was ideal to help with her schoolwork! Brilliant value, good quality with all the equipment and accessories needed to make this an ideal starter set to get the interest levels going while being an invaluable help with her studies. We would certainly recommend this set.

Bought this for a christmas present for grandson. Once assembled it broke and the overall quality in my opinion wasn,t great

The kids have been after one of these for a while , and i was sceptical , thinking it would be just a toy. But its not its really detailed and works well enough for their age group (8 and 9).its mazing what they keep trying to stick under the microscope and the clear nights have been perfect for a little star gazing. If their interest keeps up they could be come scientists!

Despite asking Amazon to use Amazon box for this, it was sent in original box. Not only it ruined the surprise but also damaged the item inside.

My 6yr granddaughter absolutely loves this telescope she take it everywhere bit tricky to use the stand but practice makes perfect. Hasn't really used the microscope yet but looks really good.
