Hasegawa Ladders Lucano Step Stool, 2, Red

The first time I saw Hasegawa ladders in my search for a step ladder, it was the gold version which retails for hundreds of dollars. I thought, no, this must be a joke post like the 1 gallon drum of lube. But it was real. People were obsessed with it.I kept looking, thinking this ladder is not for me; but the clean lines kept calling me. I don't have much kitchen space so having something functional and pretty would be so great. After many dreams of our future life together, I too became a Hasegawa ladder owner.And let me tell you, it is worth every penny.The ladder is so stable, I have to climb up all the time to reach my upper cabinets and I don't even think twice about it anymore. No wobble, no slipping, just strong and reassuring support even if I'm balanced up top with an armload of things. I can fold and carry the ladder with one hand, it's so light. It tucks away beautifully, looks pretty unfolded, and stands perfectly balanced on it's own tucked or untucked.Someone really did make the perfect step ladder. And it's this one.

I'm a total shorty, -can't reach any of our top shelves. Needed something handy I could grab at a moment's notice that was visually attractive enough not to have to hide away in a closet somewhere. This is a pricey little stool, but it's made exceptionally well and true to its claim, stands up completely on its own. Worth the money.If you're clumsy or have crappy eyesight I'd spring for the version of this stool with the wider rungs -as the only design flaw to speak of on this particular model is the potention to miss the step when you're going down as it is quite petite.

I had met this guy who made/designed these long ago at a Dwell on Design Expo. I really liked his ladders. So clean, slim. light, yet strong. I had always vowed that when my "plastic" kitchen step stool which is adding to Plastic Garbage (sorry) died, I would invest in this ladder. Painful in the pocket but I am pretty sure I will have it for the rest of my days! And one day someone will fight to get this little step stool, "cause it will outlive me.

We recently remodeled our kitchen, and now have some cabinets that are a bit harder to reach. This step ladder is the perfect solution. It is light weight, easily collapsible with one hand, and incredibly stable--whether folded for storage, or in use. It's also great for casual seating in the kitchen. And the best part is that it looks AMAZING in the process. It's an ornament in the kitchen, not something that needs to be hidden away. Form and function, beautifully done.

Made-in-Japan, well-built, clean aesthetic, but be aware the footprint is relatively substantial for a folding step stool

Love it. A good compromise between a 2 and 3 step. I can reach everything I want with my 8 foot ceilings. Sturdy. Looks great. My only criticism is that the lower step is rather narrow.

Ordered the orange, Amazon sent the white. Despite the mistake, the step stool is perfect. Well-made, light, folds neither too easily, nor too stiff. As advertised. A+

What a great product this is, and the orange color is perfect. Lightweight but strong and safe, nice height to reach the top shelves of our ceiling mount cabinets. Really glad I read reviews and chose this one.

Die Leiter ist super stylish, ideal für die Küche, wenn man mal was aus den hohen Küchenregalen holen muss... da sie zart/schmal ist, kann man sie überall zusammengeklappt hinstellen.. und jetzt kommt das ABER ... sicher fühle ich mich nicht darauf, Standfläche ist nur sehr schmal. Also Vorsicht geboten und anhalten ! Sonst wie gesagt sieht sie toll aus und ist robust !

This must be the most stylish way to reach the top shelf in a Billy bookcase. Solidly built, elegantly designed, you really wouldn't want to hide them away. Hardly a bargain, but substantially cheaper from Amazon than Conran.

写真で見た感じよりずっとガッチリしていて安定しています。うちでは椅子代わりに使用しているのでとてもフィットしています。よくあるアルミ脚立より重いので頻繁に持ち運んで使用されるには向いていないかもしれません。

Very good ladder

I just love everything about these ladders, truly excellent product design. Super light, freestanding even when folded, lovely matte red finish. Just beauties.
