Beautiful journal! This is by far the manliest journal I've ever found which is perfect for the man I'm giving it to! It smells pretty strongly of real leather so if you don't like that smell don't get it, but if you do it is amazing! The 101 journal prompts are actually a list in the last couple pages, not printed on each page like I was imagining. I am glad that is how they did it! You can 100% tell it is handmade, does not look mass produced at all! Great quality, although they have to glue down the beginning and ending of the leather binding which is fine but one spot had come unglued when I opened it up. I was able to fix it with some strong glue so not a big deal! Otherwise great quality, very rustic and manly. Would totally recommend to others to purchase!!!

I purchased this journal for my wife as part of her birthday gift and she loves it. The journal feels sturdy and the paper has a nice thickness and texture to it.The leather feels very nice in your hands. The design is very simple and it stays together well. As seen in the pictures, the leather strap holds the book closed using friction alone. This does the job adequately. It also came in pleasant packaging. All in all, the journal is high quality and comes exactly as described. I am pleased with it. I might purchase one for myself.

I love this journal. The leather is beautiful this look like u should have payed way more. It's well made and looks very professional. It comes with a protective bag and good paper not thin at all. I love the way the leather strap go around it to close it. I never had anything like it. It truly make me wanna journal. I've been filling Journals since I was a teen. They increase in value with age. This new "True Pure Good" Journal is as soft and supple as expensive leather driving gloves. There's a cool leather strap that wraps around the closed Journal to secure it; even the internal binding is made from narrow shoelace-like leather. This is already the most valued Journal on my shelf with only a few entries. I like to just sit and hold it. It even smells good !

What a fantastic piece. Who knew you could still get handmade quality stuff like this any more. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality or appearance of this journal. I purchased it as an accessory to an Indiana Jones costume, but it's far too nice not to incorporate it into my daily grind. Have no reservations my friends, this is a keeper.

The distressed leather is the journal has such a vintage aged look that will makes it a treasured heirloom -- especially since there is a special page to write in my name plus the journal start and end dates. I got more pages than most of the other journals I checked out. Additionally it was delivered in beautiful packaging which was a plus!
