Amway Compatible Fit O-ring 5" outer diameter

I "inherited" an old Amway filter system from my home's former owners. I replaced the filter with a compatible one I also got on Amazon (fit perfectly), but when I put the unit back together it immediately started leaking, which it didn't do before. Replacing the O-ring was my "hail Mary" before putting the unit in the garbage can, and shelling out the money for a new system. We were delighted to see that it worked perfectly. Do not replace the filter without also replacing this item!

It works

I purchased this to solve a leak in our E84 water filter system. The O-ring was a perfect fit, and we are now able to use our water filter again. The installation instructions recommended that we use DOW 111 silicone sealant, which is rated for contact with food/water for human consumption. In this case, I simply used a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to lubricate the O-ring prior to installing, which worked quite well.

I own the old Amway WTS E-9230, original filter # E-9225 and from then on the compatible (E-0084 etc) replacement filters from Amway. Only when I tried to change the filter again this year did I experience any leaks with the housing unit, so I replaced the O-ring with this compatible one and no more leaks. Very happy with the product and the speedy delivery.

I bought the Amway replacement filter and the ring but not able to utilize since the MAIN SYSTEM that fits the ring and the filter broke.Is there a system that I can buy that fits the ring and the filter?

I received the Amway Water Filter O-ring just several days after I ordered it. I followed the simple instructions that came with the O-Ring so I could be reasonably sure my leakage problem would be solved. It was.I was very pleased with the delivery time and the product it self. I would recommend this product and source to any one requiring an Amway Water Filter replacement O-Ring.

I received this o ring in timely manner can some one tell me where I can find a filter opener we bought this house with the amway water filter system e9225 but we do not have any instructions and we do not remember where the hose should be connected.

Replacing the old o-rings on my 20 yr old under sink water filter didn't fix my problem, but I don't think it was these o-rings. I think it was the filter housing. I ended up replacing my whole filter.
