cab and chassis truck
installed on 2026 Chevy 3500HD Cab and Chassis fit was perfect had to take out existing rivet and drill three holes on both side of frame. hitch fit good and looks very Heavy duty very pleased. note Cab and chassis frame 34 inch across.

Not for standard trucks
Dimensions are for the box it comes in. The paper states it is for 2500/3500 2500hd with 35 inches between frame railes. Normal trucks are 42 inches between frame railes. Since I can weld, I built brackets and welded them into the frame. It's heavy duty and was worth the price.

Good hitch. Not good hardware
Went to torque the m16 bolts provided to the recommended 195 ft lbs. Per the instructions. Stripped 3 of the 6 bolts. Had to cut them back off since they wouldent back off. Then Had to go buy grade 8 5/8" bolts . Can't get ahold of curt for new ones

Well built and heavy
Definitely a heavy duty hitch, and it is well built. It's got some weight to it, so plan on using some jack stands to hold it in place while you mark your holes.

Perfect fit on an M35A2
Installed this on my M35A2 deuce-and-a-half. I also installed this on my M105 trailer for a one-time double tow. The frame rails are the same distance apart as the M35A2, but the channel flange isn't as wide by an inch. So I had to drill new holes in the hitch receiver. Never should be an issue if you never plan to mount this on the trailer.

Fitment
Instructions aren't real clear especially if you're buying it for a Dodge. It's basically made for a Chevrolet and it also fits a Dodge. If you install it on a Dodge you have to drill out the rivets on the very aft end.
