Magical Dawn 20 Postcards: Published in Sweden as "Magisk Gryning"

I got this book and started coloring that very day. The images are very inviting, inspiring and fun. The quality of the paper in Hanna Karlzon's postcard coloring books is superb. Colored pencils glide on the surface effortlessly. The pages are very thick and sturdy - a true postcard one could send. This book does have some similarities in it to Karlzon's "Day Dreams" book, but I don't mind. It's so satisfying to start coloring a page and be finished the same day because of the smaller size. Her drawings are large enough so that it's pretty easy to color unlike some books where the images are teeny tiny and a little tedious. I like that I can press quite hard with a pencil and it never makes an impression through to the other side. All images are one-sided. The one "downside" is that I love this book so much I'm going to be through it way too fast lol.

I bought this to practice water coloring faces and hair, but I didn't realize all the portraits would be of women with big, ugly nose piercings, yuck. That is truly disgusting. I tried to see if this was something that was done traditionally in Sweden, but as far as I can tell, I don't think so. It pretty much ruined the whole reason why I bought this. The rest of the illustrations were repeats from another set that I already own (same designs, slight variations on how they are sized or positioned on the page, what a disappointment!

These coloring postcards are beautiful and detailed and the subject matter is dreamy and very artistic. I'm enjoying using this little book in my quiet moments and making some very nice works of art if I may so so! I highly recommend this book.

I purchased these postcards so I’d have some smaller pieces to work on. These fit nicely on my clipboard.Some of the pictures are fairly detailed while others are single afternoon projects. I’ve really enjoyed the ones I’ve worked on so far.The paper is actual stock and the pages stand up to various mediums quite well. I’ve used several types of pens and markers on mine and haven’t yet experienced any bleed through or staining.

one of my top five must own coloring books. hanna's art is origional and whimsical. i highly recommend this coloring book.

I love this book! Beautiful artwork, thick pages, and fun to color. It is one of my favorites. I got this for a Christmas from my mother and have been enjoying it since.

Commander en pensant que c'était le grand livre. Imaginée ma surprise quand je vois un ci petit livre arrivé. Et puis en fin de compte je le trouve parfait pour découvrir le monde de la dessinatrice et parfait aussi pour expérimenter l'aquarelle, la peinture etc, les feuilles sont très très épaisse et permettent une multitude d'essais papier.Je ne connaissait ce type de livre en carte. Mais ça change. (Même si à présent je ferais plus attention au titre et commentaire... lol)
