Baktat Hot Ajvar Sauce – 12.5oz

I discovered ajvar at an odd lots discount grocery in North Miami 3 years ago. I bought a jar as an experiment, took it home and loved it. Went back and bought the remaining stock (a case and a half). When it ran out I spent the next 3 years looking for it. I have tried every different brand of ajvar I could find in local gourmet and specialty stores. Nothing I have tried is quite like this. It's flavorful without being too hot, tangy without being sour, a hint of garlic and just plain delicious. Excellent as a sandwich spread (and low fat!), great as a dip for chips or veggies, try it on roasted chicken.
