In looking for a solution, I came across this little device, which mounts to the shoe mount on the camera, then provides a place to clip the Saramonic receiver. But, it did not stop there! There are two clip spots to mount two receivers or microphones. I have a shotgun mic as well which can mount to the other spot. Of course, mounting two microphones to a camera usually means more gadgetry to get both to plug into the camera. The mount has provisions to plug in two microphones and output from a single plug with one mic on the left and one on the right. This shows thoughtfulness in the design of a simple but very useful piece of gear. The device is solidly built and looks like it will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend this device if you are recording audio on your camera. Review: Piece of junk ! Item simply doesn't function as advertised (Defective product ?).
