Liselotte & Witch's Forest, Vol. 2 (Liselotte in Witch's Forest, 2) Paperback – October 25, 2016

Absolutely LOVE all of her works, this has an interesting story and beautifully drawn artwork. Completely new characters but I can see bits and pieces of some of her older characters in these new ones yet the new characters are not copies.

And so, the interesting combination of extreme silliness and total seriousness....continues! we are introduced to several new characters who are not as they first appear. the story itself is not what it seems on the surface and the lighthearted jokes cover up a much more melancholly tone. major revelations and a big cliffhanger await you in this volume. many changes but no clear direction is forming. not really attached to the characters but curious to see where the soap opera goes

I love this series, though it is kind of a weird one. Natsuki Takaya has a way of enrapturing her audience. The art reminds me of Fruits Basket, and the characters are sweet too.

We get to see more of Liselotte trying to be a normal girl, trying to correctly learn how to farm and clean and cook, trying to have a good relationship with the delivery men even though they know what she's done and can't acquaint themselves fully with her. She even goes in search of the witches, because she's determined to make nice and not have them haunting or terrorizing her.We meet a couple witches here, and of course they're more fun than scary. One guy is a jerk, but the two girls seem very sweet, and they're really insecure about how scary they are. In the midst of all this, we get to see some of what Liselotte did. What her life was like before, and what she did to deserve being banished. I'm still curious about the whole story, of course.And then... then we see what is really going on with Engetsu. And I must say that I was really not expecting this twist. It was not at all what I was guessing, and now I'm even more intrigued by it. I love Natsuki she is my favorite manga artist. I really hope she finishes this manga, but I will collect them all... If you liked her manga's in the past or you are a big suck for romance, get this manga... just be aware there might not be a proper ending. :)
