The Pen that comes with it doesn't work very well and constantly sticks to the screen. The case is also for a tab A with a pen not the SM-t580 as advertised. I don't want to take the time to return it because of how long it took to get here. So I am writing this honest review instead. It obviously isn't the case for it but I'm making it work because of how long it took to get it. It honestly looks rather cheap and some of the closure Parts don't even line up at places as you can see in the pictures.

This thing is a BEAST.... When it was delivered, I was surprised by the weight of the case and I wasn't sure how I liked adding the weight to my tablet but I needed protection and boy this case offers protection! I mean, once I got it on the tablet, I was very tempted to throw it across the room (LOL). Other than the weight I have really only a couple of things to tell others before deciding on this case.First off, the screen protector scratches very easily and almost immediately it started to annoy me. It doesn't sit flush against the glass so it has a little air gap which causes occasional touch screen errors. Easy enough to fix, I just removed it. (I'm buying a dedicated screen protector which will take its place)Secondly, the access ports on the case have such thick rubber that it puts a strain on the micro USB. I'm pretty careful with my cables and I could see after three charge sessions, my charger was bending at the the port. Not wanting any future problems, I cut the port cover off. The only thing that cover was going to protect from is dirt or sand etc from getting into the port, which I'm usually careful about anyway. Also, I hardly ever use headphones, so this hasn't become an issue for me yet but, the headphone jack cover appears to have the same issue. Too thick and will put a decent strain on the headphone jack if left in place.Thirdly, the volume buttons are pretty hard to actuate. Everything lines up and they do work, but you have to press in pretty deep, which takes some getting used to.All in all, the case offers some serious drop and shock protection. I'm keeping it as is but, if I buy again in the future, I'll be looking at other products.

I love this case. It was super easy to put on. It fits perfectly. It does an amazing job. It looks exactly as advertised. Only comment on making it's not necessarily negative is there is a flat on the bottom right corner that I'm not really sure what it's for. Other than that the charging port and headphone port very easy to get to and are protected when the flap is closed. Absolutely would buy this product again!!!!!

Updated - the case fell about a foot from a ottoman to ta carpeted floor... it cracked as well as the tablet. If I could give it 0, that is what it deserves.

I especially like the kickstand. Item arrived in perfect shape, great overall protection for a fragile tablet. Good cover comes with a stylus pen. Reasonable price.

Nice, well-made case, but it is just a tweak off in some areas.
