This is a completely unique piece- a vintage book in appearance, this is actually a wood box which is wood-burned and hand-decorated. The "spine" opens into a drawer- perfect for jewelry, trinkets or any other keepsakes! The front appears to be a classic compilation of the complicated Sherlock Holmes and his tales of mystery. The border is my favorite part- everything that makes Holmes "Holmes". I think it speaks for itself =) Its in navy blue, silver and gold. The back is particularly cool- its a floor plan of 221 Baker Street. Can you spot everything? The spine is again the title and author, as well as a violin charm in silver. This can also be a magnifying glass. The whole thing is sprayed with a glossy, protective finish. This is an absolutely wonderful piece for any fan of literature, Sherlock Holmes, mystery or Arthur Conan Doyle. Would make a great gift for yourself or for someone else.
