Salts Gone specifically does not have anything in it that will break down or emulsify oil. This is why it's very popular in conjunction with undercoating products, safe on fishing reels, trailer bearings, does not remove wax etc. If you want to remove undercoating this is not the product for that application, but it is 100% safe to use over top of it. **Q: Is this safe on ceramic coating?** A: Absolutely! It's one of the major reasons people use our product. Even the concentrate (before its mixed with water) is PH neutral. This makes it 100% safe on ceramic, wax, electronic screens, fabrics, vinyl wraps etc. **Q: Can you use this as a protective pretreatment?** A: Absolutely! It’s a salt remover and corrosion inhibitor! You don’t have to wait for salt to start using it! **Q: Approximately how many washes will this last for a full sized truck?** A: Probably 3 or 4 based on my 35ft center console ## Frequently Bought Together - Salts Gone™ (32oz) - Salts Gone™ (Gallon - Fluid Film Rust & Corrosion Protection, Metal Surface Penetrant & Lubricant, Marine, Automotive, Industrial, Home, 11.75 Oz Aerosol Spray (Pack of 6) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/408793654-salts-gone-32oz-hose-end-sprayer](https://www.desertcart.be/products/408793654-salts-gone-32oz-hose-end-sprayer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
