Excellent for Mouth Taping
Got this to tape my mouth when sleeping with my CPAP, as I didn’t want to spend big money on specialty tapes you see advertised everywhere. Not only is this far cheaper, it works great, even with my beard. Keeps my mouth closed, but still allows me to open my mouth in an emergency situation.

Really good tape.
This works very well for me. I wish that 3m would make a simple handheld tape dispenser that was not cheap plastic that will not cut the tape. Something similar to the 3/4 inch dispenser.

3M Reliability in a Medical Tape
A trusted and true medical tape from the makers of, well, tape. It provides a strong and lasting adhesion on the skin, but doesn’t leave a lot of stickiness once removed. The tape can be torn by hand.

Works great
This tape is the best, sticks good to skin, non irritating and cones of early when removed. I would definitely recommend.

Cured my apnea, took the skin off my lips
I am using this for mouth taping and it has improved my health almost overnight. I wear a pulse ox monitor for mild sleep apnea, and normally it records 20-30 instances per night of oxygen falling to around 80%. With taping this drops to zero. Zero. I’m in my 40s and never experienced sound sleep like this. Of course I tried all the things, diet (I’m not overweight), allergy meds, TMJ appliances, different pillows... but taping has basically cured me.I do have TMJ in my right jaw (jaw dislocates every time I talk or chew) and I was nervous how my bite would be affected; I still wear my nightguard and so far, if anything, taping seems to be reducing the overall strain on my jaw.I like this so much I’ve been wearing tape during the day between meals to continue to train my nose breathing. Again it’s been literally (and positively) mind altering to have more oxygen all the time. I have struggled with compulsive overeating my whole life and it seems a little sadistic to do this to myself but it’s been enormously helpful - because the tape is a pain to apply and remove, I can gently restrict myself to normal meals instead of grazing junk food all day (I’m a champion overeater). I can still drink fluids through a straw just fine. All that said, I don’t know wtf people are on about here saying this peels right off. Getting this off my lips the first time was painful and scary. It would NOT come off and even using warm water it peeled the skin off my lips and still left a bunch of annoying residue. Next time I tried applying lip balm before the tape and through some alchemical nightmare it stuck even worse. I might try a barrier cream and see if it helps. For now what works for me is I either reuse the strip a second time, or I press my clean fingers on the 1/2” section that goes over my lips to reduce the tackiness there. I also tried taping a piece of the same tape in the middle of the strip (so the 1/2” section over my lips only contact the nonsticky side of tape), but then my actual lips weren’t taped together and it wasn’t as effective because I still found myself sneaking mouth breaths.

Such a good product!
Perfect stickiness, tear-ability, ease of use, remove-ability, lasts perfect length of time. Life is only worth living with Micropore available. (Not an employee nor stockholder!) As I injure myself and fall apart (often) this stuff is there to put me back together. What is this, spun paper?Put it on too tight? Bend and it tears to the perfect degree, etc. Is it a buck or two a roll? What more do you want! Omg 3M rules the school! No substitutes: 3M brand Micropore.
