Vinyl Screen Door Dakota (32x80)

It is a nice door. The frame is a different color than the lower panel. The panel is a pinkish white. We kept it because we need it and it was for the guest house porch. If it were facing the street the color may have been an issue for me. Otherwise I like it. It is sturdy and has a charm to it.

I had to convince my husband that we needed a screen door, since the fold-up temporary screen we had was dilapidated, and flies were getting in. He finally relented, so I shopped on Amazon for one. After measuring our door frame, this Dakota vinyl screen door looked perfect. We live on the coastside, and everything rusts or warps after awhile, if it is made of wood or metal, so the vinyl option was the best choice. Once we got the door, it took both of us to install it (teamwork!), and it looks and works beautifully. No more flies indoors, and a well-ventilated home!

door fits and works well. the bottom panel is a lite lavender color compared to the rest of the door. And there is a seam in the middle of the screen. Otherwise, its a nice door. Lol.

I like this door but can not give it five starts because it did not come with any hardwear to hang it. Had to go to Lowes to buy hinges and door pull,this add money to the purchase of the door. To add salt to the fire,Lowes had the same door for $99. In the long run I should have gone to Lowes and I would have saved money.

We've had a screen door on our 120 year old house for the past 15 yeas... until this point, all were purchased at Home Depot (or other big box store). This door is, BY FAR, sturdier and better constructed than anything we've had before. It is about 15% more in price, but well worth it (especially since it doesn't get caught in the wind every time we go outside like our past models). A good purchase if you're looking for a nice looking door at a reasonable price.

This door was an excellent value and easy to install. Can only be trimmed about 1/2 all around - it looks great!

Flimsy door and way overpriced for the quality. No door handle. Attractive but has to be kept locked with a separately purchased latch in order to stay closed.
