Good product but needs some improvements to hardware
Premium Swing Hammock Pod For Kids By Homable - Adjustable & Comfortable - Full Package With Inflatable Pillow, Pump, Hooks & Screws For Installation, For Indoor/Outdoor Use, Upto 176 pounds! (Beige) I really love the idea of this hammock and my 5 year old boy loved it when he received it for Christmas. The product is not a bad idea and it seems to be reasonable quality, however there are some issues. I am giving 3 stars for my review because I have two complaints with the hammock, both of which could be easily addressed by the manufacturer.Problem 1: No Installation Instructions IncludedAlthough I understood the hardware that came with it and how it worked, I was surprised to see that there were no installation instructions with the product. There was a small booklet with some basic information, but the only thing resembling instructions on attaching it are "This product must only be installed by someone fully qualified to do so." I can't remember the last time ANYTHING came without instructions so surely something that hangs from your ceiling should have some included. This could potentially cause a lot of damage and/or injury if done incorrectly.Problem 2: Hanging Hardware is Simply Not Good Enough - It lasted 3 days before it came loose. (Picture included)Hanging a hammock from my ceiling for my children that can only hold 60 lbs is somewhat unsettling. My five year old boy weighs about 50 lbs. This means he cannot get in the swing with too much force, bring too many extra things with him, let the fat cat sit in his lap with him, or let his 9 year old sister sit in it... or anyone else for that matter. Not to mention this is if he actually listens when I tell him never swing in it or share it with anyone, which, lets face it, is a crap shoot at best. He's five. Anything goes when friends are visiting and they're in the room for any length of time without adult supervision.Obviously there are some limitations to hanging something from a ceiling joist so I understand if it's not warranted for 500 lbs, but I think beefing up the hardware capacity and putting some 3" lag screws instead of the not-so-great expansion anchors would make it last a bit longer. The anchors failed to hold after just 3 days, just as I suspected they would. I'm sure that my kids didn't follow the rules and put too much weight on the swing, but once again, I feel that this light weight limit should be addressed. I intend to replace them with my own lag screws. I hope those hold it better.I don't like giving 100% bad reviews unless it is completely deserved, so I will end with some positive points:-The canvas material that the hammock is made of seems very well made and strong.-The inflatable cushion seems sturdy enough (although I would recommend using an air compressor instead of the included pump... otherwise you will be pumping for 6-7 days).-The size of the hammock is fun for the kids because it is just big enough, which is always neat for them.Overall, this hammock is a great idea but it just needs some more tweaks to make it a great product.

66 POUNDS IS THE WEIGHT LIMIT. 66 POUNDS NOT 176.
THE BOX IT COMES IN AND ALSO THE BROCHURE CLEARLY STATE THAT THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF THE LARGE SIZE IS 66 LB OR 30KG.I HAVE TO RETURN IT, MY GRANDSON WEIGHS OVER 66 LBS.I didnt install it, just have to return it due to the INACCURATE description stating it can hold 176 pounds which is a LIE.

Not as durable, mixed info.
My so. Has food aversions. With some sensory things going on. So he loves the swing. Helps him so much. I would give it 5 stars. But there are conflicting things to it. He’s not even 20 pounds and as you can see in the first picture. The sewing is coming undone. He hasn’t had it up more than a month. Also the hardware is not meant for anything other than dry wall. But how is dry wall supposed to keep a swing up? We had to buy our own hardware as well as a chin because the one that came with it wasn’t long enough. Also, here it says hold up to 160 pounds. On the box it says 60. Overall. It’s a great idea of a product. But we will have to invest yet again on another swing soon because if the stitching that is unraveling.

A place for imagination
This is the first place our 4yr old grandson heads for. We have it hanging from an old oak tree close to a retaining wall he uses as leverage to push off from "base". It's then a swinging rocket ship, I can hear him nattering and blasting the bad guys from Star Wars! We purchased some pretty hefty chain to hang it securely. It's well made, sturdy material and meant for smaller kids. He keeps his favourite books and his tablet in the pockets. Very happy with this purchase.

My daughter enjoyed it so much that I bought a large purple ...
I had one of the small beige ones for my son. My daughter enjoyed it so much that I bought a large purple one for her room. When my son outgrew his, I ordered a large beige one and received a large purple one instead. Since they both have autism, opted to keepsons purple one in my sons room to have one he could fit in and just pay for another and hope it was right this time. When it came, I was so happy it was the right color only to find it was the small swing when I had paid for a large. So I have 2 swings that I didn't order. In short, the swing is nice.......if you get what you pay for.

Not as strong as it states!
I have a 6 and 8 year old and they had the clear pocket ripped by the end of day two and the seam ripped connected to the bottom after 2 weeks. It was small in the inside (neither kid could get all the way in). It was missing screws to hold the swing. I returned it. Not as strong as it says.

WEIGHT LIMIT!?!?
I’m very confused!? This is false advertising at its best on Amazon apparently? On Amazon it states “weight UP TO 176lbs”!!! BUT, I have the swing in my hands (as we are about to hang it) and on the insert it says “holds up to 66lbs”! I mean COME ON AMAZON! Do they just put whatever they want to sell the item & then when you get it & your child LOVES IT you just have to deal with the weight limit discrepancy of 110lbs? Apparently that’s what’s going to happen. It’s very cute & my girl loves it, but I’m just so disappointed that there was such false advertising on it... oh well! She’s gng to enjoy it, even if only for a year or so.

She is pretty cramped in it and doesn't sit comfortably
We bought the large swing thinking that it would be big enough for our 10 yr. old daughter. She is pretty cramped in it and doesn't sit comfortably. This would be perfect for smaller children. The canvas is thick and durable. The book/iPad pocket inside is a great addition.
