Rack is a good size, but when we cook ribs we have trouble getting all four halves into the water bath. No much trouble but a bit. That is a function of what we are cooking and not a real commentary on the device. Water heats quickly and we have not had to add any water when cooking the ribs (they take 24 hours, so that is a good test). Fits our sous vide (Brenville) cooker with no problem. Highly recommend this product.
