This book is amazing, as are the talents of Bennett and Mae Klein. The detailed work that goes in to each work of art is spectacular. It's fitting for all skills of colorists, as the greyscale makes it easy for most anyone to complete. In fact, you'll be amazed at how even a beginning colorist can look like a pro. I have all of Bennett's books and I feel he outdoes himself with each and every publication. If you love mythical creatures and fantastic works of art, you need to pick up a copy. You'll find hours and hours of fun in this one - and every other of Bennett's books.

Bennett Klein has hit another one out of the park with his latest adult coloring book entitled Colour My Sketchbook MYTHIC. Mr. Klein has an amazing artistic talent and a sense of humor with just a bit of a macabre twist and he channels all this into his sketches and doodles.Combining line drawings with grayscale, this amazing artist gives beginning colorists the chance to stretch themselves and their budding talents while, for more advanced colorists, the sky becomes the limit. Easily adaptable to all sorts of media, my personal preference for MYTHIC is my pencils but some of his drawings have encouraged me to try my hand at watercolor pencils with surprisingly good results. In MYTHIC, Mr. Klein offers us creatures of the nether worlds such as trolls, imps, and vampires but you will find that none are of the ordinary ilk. Goblins, hell hounds, and unusual unicorns are also to be found on these pages.This is the 9th in Bennett Klein's Colour My Sketchbook series and my personal 5th. I am already wondering what will be next!My enjoyment in this book knows no bounds and I highly recommend it with a rating of 5 stars.

I really like these grayscale books. This is my fourth grayscale book from this artist. I really enjoy the type of artwork this artist puts out as they are interesting and fun to color. Like his other books, the images are printed on light weight, non-perforated paper. The images are single sided, but can easily be cut out of the book for coloring or display. As with his other books, and most CreateSpace books, I find that for me pencils work best with the occasional gel ink pen accent. If using wetter mediums, you will certainly need to put a sheet of paper between pages to avoid bleed through.

I absolutely love to color as it's a great stress relief. Over the years I've collected many coloring books - but since I found Bennett Klein that has changed. His work is simply amazing. He has such a wide variety of designs in one book. Some books have the same type of design over and over and over. Not these books. I absolutely love the wide variety of designs. I have his entire collection and I sit on the edge of my seat waiting for his newest release. You won't be disappointed when purchasing a book from Bennett. You'll be addicted as well. Also check out his group on Facebook - you can see for yourself all his designs colored and how supportive he is of all his followers.

You can't go wrong with any of Bennett Klein's books. The designs are amazingly creative and the grayscale is the right shade to allow coloring over with any kind of coloring medium. The designs include a wonderful selection of mythical creatures including vampires, trolls, werewolves, griffins, and many more. There is one thing I don't like about the book, which turns it from a five-star to a four-star rating. There are a few designs which are are abstract patterns rather than pictures of mythical creatures, and they are only nominally grayscale. As for the paper quality, it is typical for a self-published coloring book: thin and slightly rough. To me this is not a problem since I always photocopy the page onto card stock.

Because you won't be able to put the books down LOL. Amazing book. Very abstract art in wonderful greyscale shading. I didn't think I would enjoy greyscale but Mr Klein has me sold. The only cons are the paper quality and the pages are not perforated but this common amongst most coloring books.There is nothing like it on the market. I don't know if this is would be a great book for young children or those dead set on cute butterflies and flowers as the graphics are radically different. No sexual or evil..just an abstract type that is suited for adults who are looking for something,well,different. If you have any doubts, please look up the reviews from Anxiety Art Adventures on you tube. They do an excellent job reviewing the books. I eventually bought all of his books and can't put them down as coloring in them is so enjoyable. Thankyou Mr Klein! Please continue sharing your gift with rest of the world.

Toujours un plaisir a feuilleter, les dessins comme d'habitude, toujours sublimes et raffinés et imaginatifs. je colorie ou je ne colorie pas telle est la question ? j'aime trop ces dessins .

Bennett has done it again! Absolutely awesome.All of the images inside this coloring book are based on various myths, including modern myths (werewolves, ghosts, demons, gods/goddesses)...All of the pages are single sided and on a medium weight paper, and the nice thing about these books is that Bennett has signed a release you can get on his site or through his group to copy the book 1x at a print shop to test things out before you commit to adding them to the book.What I really enjoy about this line of books is that they have a variety of subject matter, interesting backgrounds and most of the shading work has been done for you already. The binding isn't too thick, and the covers are reminiscent of moleskine.Bennett and Mae work really hard on these, and they're quite easy to bring to life. Once you've become a fan, it's hard to not get the next book down the line!

Bennett klein takes us into the world of mythical creatures with his fantastic collection of greyscale sketches.Anyone is able to make a masterpiece from these sketchesAs someone who is relatively new to the world of adult colouring books and with no artistic training or background it is truly a credit to Bennett Kleins artistic talents that I have been able to create images that don't look like they have been coloured by a three year old child hyped up on fruit shoots and smarties ;)The paper is of a decent quality. The images are clear and highly detailed.

If you enjoy beautifully drawn pictures full of detail, this is a book for you. Also, if you enjoy other books by this artist, then you will not be disappointed with this newest creation. I would highly recommend to all.
