so far these do the job i hoped for .. there is a trick to making them work right which is lifting up on pot to make then release and then helping pot back upward to lock. first time i used it dropped it unexpectedly and it came off hook in ceiling but caught it so no problems with mess. wish the hook that holds the plant at the bottom had a clip like a carbiner as the hook is open and thats why pot came unhooked when i first used it.. other wise what i needed!

This product is well built and works fairly well, which I was somewhat surprised. Please note, you will need some time to get the hang of adjusting the vertical position of your plant. I use these outside in the backyard with 10" plants, and overall they're working well.

This pulley is not what I hoped. You actually have to reach up and push it up before you can pull it down. You cannot just pull down. This defeated the purpose for me, as it's too high for me to reach up. It's low enough, if I could just pull it down straight, but it doesn't work like that.

Works great for high hanging baskets. Can't use them on standard cellings becuse then the plant hangs to low but on my high 12 foot + it works great!
