I LOVE this brush set!
I have been looking at this set of brushes for a few weeks, debating on giving them a chance and finally took the plunge. They have a great website supporting their product as well. I ordered them and got them today. So, I played with them and wow, I am so happy with everything about these brushes! They have great snap to them, hold water and paint wonderfully, disperse the paint smoothly, and maintain a great point. The case is just awesome, not flimsy and the brushes all fit snugly inside but are not too tight either. I love that you can put the handle on the brushes, place them inside the case and stand it up on the desk to have them ready for use! Even the box packaging is durable and good quality. The handles fit snugly and don't come off while in use. They do rattle just a tiny bit but this is nothing to worry over. The cheetah design is so cool and fun. I had no escape hairs either. The set came with a thank you card hand initialed ny the seller, a very nice touch. There isn't anything I don't like about this set. I am not a professional artist, I'm just a hobby painter so keep that in mind. I have added two pictures. One showing what the set looks like right out of the package, and a sample of each brush performance. Please forgive my shaky hand, I'm in treatment for cancer.

Nice set but...
Although fully aware of what I was purchasing I do wish they had made the case out of real leather. They have used particularly cheap looking faux leather. I also wish they would swap out a couple of brushes for a rigger and maybe a 1/4' flat. Would make it far more useful as a true field set. However the brushes are nice quality and fit the holders well for the most part although be warned they are more the length you would expect of an oil brush than a water color brush.Would make a great gift item because they do look special and I suspect the cheapness of the case would be overlooked by most. The important part, the bristles themselves are very nice and handle well.

Awesome Set -- Awesome Quality
I received my set this week and they are beautiful, high quality brushes. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They have nicer points than the pictures show. I really only wanted a size 10 or 12 sable travel brush since I already have a few travel brushes in various smalleer sizes but the other brands are very expensive for a single large brush. For the price of one of them, I got this whole set of six(!) in different sizes and they are of comparable quality to the other sable travel brushes that I have (Escoda, Connoisseur, and Da Vinci sable brushes) . I like the cheetah print too; the brushes are rather elegant looking. The smallest one has rather long bristles and looks like it could well be used as a liner brush and for detail work. The carrying case is not leather of course, but it is fairly nice. There is room to slip a few more travel brushes in the slots if you are so inclined.

Great Brushes!
I do like the brushes. They come to decent point and hold a lot of water and pigment. The customer service is also incredibly good. I will say that for the price they can't be beat, however, they are not the best brush out. I cannot compare them to other travel brushes as I have not used any others. I can compare them to other paint brushes and I prefer these over synthetics but it is rare for me to use a synthetic. I compared them to another kolinsky sable and will say that it holds its own. I actually prefer squirrel hair brushes and when compared to the set I own the squirrel comes to a finer point but it also has a better point than my other sable brush. I will say there is no real difference between how much they hold.I would definitely recommend these brushes, especially for plein air. Like with anything take proper care of it and it'll treat you right.

Convenient and comparable quality!
Great set of brushes! I originally purchased these as a gift for a friend, but I loved the look so much that I decided to keep them. I see a group of plein air painters every time I walk the lake here in Big Bear, and have taken up watercolor again after a few year stint off. This set seemed perfect for my level and fit into my back pocket when I walk my dog. At least once a week I'm able to grab my notebook and just pick a rock to sit on for a quick sketch and these travel handles are just so convenient for my paintings.

Great Value & Quality
I'm a painter in the NW. About 8 in my painting group now have these watercolor brush sets and love them. Great value for the money. The brushes seem to be well made and durable. The pouch to carry them in is handy - you can carry all the brushes in the set or swap a few out for pen, pencil, whatever. I even love the box to store or carry other small items.

Feeling the wild plein air!!
The brushes are awesome! Wonderful to use. The case though is a different story. I think it would look so mich better and be a lot less stiff if it was designed usong canvas instead of pleather...its nether attractive nor do the brushes roll up well in it. One of my brushes fell out of the case, fortunately i found it. I probably will create one out of canvas

This brush set is much better than I expected
This brush set is much better than I expected, the brushes are so soft and can contain a lot of water in them. and doesn't flow on the paper. the NO.2 brush, I use it to practice thin line, I draw more than 20 lines (2.5 inches each), and still there is some paint in the brush....so I love this set very much!
