Legit Bread Mix - Blonde, 2 Pack

I've already ordered some more of this bread mix. I made it yesterday and it is pretty good. It's rather dense, as opposed to the fluffy way some bread is. But it does the job to address the craving and keep me on track. I was concerned from some of the reviews I had read about a fishy smell, but that didn't happen. I wish the people who reported the fishy smell had shared which oil they used. I chose olive oil. But do recall buying a brand of avocado oil earlier this year that didn't smell very good and it was only the one bottle. The avocado oil before and since then has had almost no scent. That made me wonder which oil the people who reported a fishy smell were using.This is not exactly the same as the bread I've had all my life. But I could get used to this. I haven't tried it as toast yet. I have wondered if I could make crackers with thin slices of this bread with the machine I bought to make dried fruit. That might be interesting to experiment with - using various seasonings. But this mix is expensive so I couldn't afford to throw away too many mistakes.

Attempt # 1: I made the mistake of asking my husband to make the first loaf while I was out. He followed the instructions but decided to use ghee instead of oil and not melt it first. The loaf came out flat and inedible. Suffice to say it’s not entirely fool proof.Attempt #2: I gave it a go, using olive oil this time. Lo and behold, a nicely risen loaf emerged. Once cut open, the coloring is a bit ombré, I think because I used a dark/non-stick pan. So next time I’ll try reducing the oven temperature. However, the texture is nice and fluffy, like store-bought sandwich bread and crusty on the outside. The smell is almost fishy though, I think maybe because of the potato starch. I’m willing to overlook this though, as this is the first bread I’ve had in months.Overall, as a paleo-diet-eating, nut-allergic person, I’m just happy to have some passable bread back in my life. I’ve also seen several Instagram posts on how to use the mix to make other exciting things. So I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I have a sensitive stomach. Not only am I allergic to gluten but I don't do great with high amounts of sugar which rules out gluten-free bread. Enter Legit Bread to save the day! Not only is this bread healthy and high in protein, but it is also super yummy. I recommend this mix and all her products

This bread is pretty good! The loaf isn't as tall as I'd like, but that's because I have a bigger bread pan that what is suggested. I am going to get the smaller pan and see how it goes. Definitely some of the better pale bread that I have had (and I've tasted several). I am excited to try the bagel mix next.

Tasted pretty darn good. I love that this is real paleo bread that I can make without 428462378 ingredients. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't hold up to a sandwich without getting a little mushy. Toasting is a must if I want to use it for sandwiches. Overall, I do recommend.

This bread is amazing. It is a staple in my household because my whole family loves it. I could not find a paleo bread my kids would eat before this and they go crazy for this stuff. I also bought the pan that goes with it and it makes the perfect loaf. I love that you can add other things to this like bananas or blueberries and make it whatever flavor you want. These mixes make my life so much easier!

This product is absolutely amazing. The leavening from the vinegar makes these loaves so fluffy and delightful. And the flavor is great too! It’s the closest thing to “real bread” that I’ve had. And it has NO grains, sugar or junk in it. Such a relief to find a super high quality, pre-made mix that tastes great and won’t make my belly hurt. Perfect for people who love to cook and thought good bread was a thing of the past.

This was pretty good! The overall flavor for me was a little bland, but I will definitely keep some of this on hand. It's not as good as the full flour bread that I used to love to eat, but really no grain-free bread ever is. This is by far the best grain-free bread, I've tried thus far and I am thankful to have it.
