According to the website it has a patented optimised preservative system which kills harmful organisms and minimises ocular irritation. Unless you are allergic to preservatives then this is excellent for contact lens cleaning and I have been using for years withour any harmful effects. **Q: Do you have to rinse before wearing after a nights soak? Also if I need to take the lenses out because of dirt do I use the disinfectant to rinse.** A: No need to rinse after storing in soaking solution, just pop in. Use soaking solution as wetting/disinfecting agent if you need to take out in the day. **Q: Can any recent buyers tell me the expiry date please?** A: I’ve recently purchased a multipack of protein cleaner and soaking solutions and the bottles have a reference to dates as 2024-07 for the soaking solution and 2023-07 for the cleaner (it’s a smaller bottle so will get used quicker).
