Every time I install a new PolSilver, it mauls my face. It is very sharp, and beats me up. Then it gives me smooth comfortable shaves for weeks. I’ve never gotten less than 12 great shaves from one of these, and usually one will last me over a month shaving every other day. Fearher blades start smoother but I only get about 4 shaves out of a Feather, which costs almost as much as a PolSilver.I’m pretty sure they are using a harder steel than others. The opening shave might be pretty unpleasant for you but give them a chance. Take the time to wash, soak and soften your whiskers before lathering up and you will get even more smooth shaves from your blade.PolSilvers are incredible blades. Easily the best I’ve ever tried. Among the smoothest of all blades, but with longevity that is off the charts. Easy to get BSS shaves without irritation for WEEKS on a single blade. Just astounding. I keep them in every razor except my most aggressive ones, which get Derbys.Get a PolSilver. Endure the first rough shave and then see how far it will take you. If it’s as good for you as it is for me, I predict you’ll be buying lots of them.

I bought the persona DE platinum blades based off the good reviews and received the alternate white/blue box and was extremely disappointed with the quality like everyone else. These are like the difference between a butter knife and a fillet knife. Amazing blades.

I've been using Derby blades until now, however the recent reviews put me off and I ordered these instead. So far they zre amazing. Very sharp but perfectly angled for a great shave. They work well with either shave soap or shave butter.

I’ve tried a bunch of different razors, but the PolSilver seem to work best for my face. I get about 3-4 close, smooth shaves out of each blade before they need to be changed out.

These are the first blades I’ve found that cut my neck when I shave. I’ll be stocking up on some more of these.
