I’m new to the gardening deal, lol** A: I don't think you need a seed starting soil for bulbs. Bulbs are good in any regular growing soil. I'd use a miracle-Gro soil. IF planting outside, any good soil would do. Never heard of begonia bulbs. Hope you have success. **Q: how many little starter containers will this fill?** A: probably about 25 it depends on what size container you are using to fill with the seed starter I used 4 inch containers **Q: Whats in this mix, is it basically the same if I used a peat moss or coco coil and miracle grow liquid** A: That is basically what this is - some dry peat/light organic along with some fertilizer and a little perlite. One advantage that I found with this product over mixing my own was that it seemed to contain no weed seeds which is sometimes a problem with mixing your own starter mix. **Q: Is 8 quarts of this enough to start my oat grass in a catbox sized tray sized container?** A: I'm not sure about that. I will say that it is available much cheaper at Lowes/Home Depot. The one I got on Amazon was full of fungus and I had to return it.
