Moose Knuckle #14 Pyrex Cup Kit - MK14G - Furick Cup

I’ve been involved in the industry for 25 Years and have tried most set-ups. I’ve been fortunate to be involved with some of the best guys in the business that taught me a whole bunch of good stuff. From Sheetmetal to exotic alloys and chassis work, gas lenses are my preferred set up. This product from Michael Furick in North Carolina, is worth every penny. Don’t even hesitate for a second, buy a pair and See why every is rocking these cups. They broaden the heat range, keep the color, allow for a long arm stick out previously unheard of and come in a few different configurations. I called Michael on the phone to ask him which set up is for what. Unless your on inconnell and ti, the 12 is just fine. Stainless and alloys can benefit from the larger Moose Knuckle and BBW cups. The mesh screen has perfectly welded itself to my tungsten, I’m guessing when I stuck my tungsten is when it happened. Not sure if it’s a common problem or if I’ve done something wrong. If it happens every time you touch your tungsten I’m not guna be able to see myself keep purchasing these cause I’ll go bankrupt.

I realize the 17 torch adaptor kit never specifies that they’re selling the Furick collet body, but I feel like after re-reading the wording I feel mislead. I bought some FUPA cups through them, and they’re great, but I was wanting the genuine collet body from Furick too. I could have gone to my LWS and bought a MILLER collet body, and the 2 other ubiquitous items for a grand total of $9, and they’re charging $30?!?! If you don’t want the hassle of going to your local welding supply, and buying these, and want the convenience of online shopping by all means try this out. I saw the word MILLER on the collet body and immediately returned. Also, looking at the heat shield it didn’t appear like it would work with the cups I bought, but the one I got from my lws works like it was made for it. So my advice is buy through Furick direct, or buy locally, because this is not worth $30.

This cup is crazy nice. Gas coverage is amazing! You can weld all day with 1/2" stick out and be good as gold with gas coverage. You get two cups and one fancy titanium cover. I suggest using it as no one wants to break this expensive cup. Well worth the money. People who love welding will be leaning towards this work of art cup. You can use most typical cheap but good gas lens kits sold all over Amazon. Just use the supplied O rings on it and weld away. I purchased a high quality American made gas lens to use with this to have the best experience possible.

Outstanding product! I welded up some 10 gauge mirror stainless steel that I had problems welding without the Furick cup before I got it. Beautiful welds with some aluminum "chill block" advice from Jamie on weldingtricksandtips.com. A really nice product for all of us who are not yet "expert welders".

You will never use a ceramic or smaller size cup again. This an absolute must have for welding stainless I am very pleased. The change alone has improved the color, look, and quality of my welds.

I'm in a TIG welding class, for a month-and-a-half my stainless steel welds were orange, purple, and blue. Same travel speed, and same arc length, I'm now pulling silver and gold beads. Excellent product, I will recommended it to others. Only drawbacks it requires 25 to 30 cfh, no A/C.

This adapter married up the Furick cup to my WP18 torch perfectly.

Ads a ton more shielding to the weld and its A-1 quality! I have a few of the Furick cups bad ass !!
