Wanted to have a small radio with an external speaker, clock and alarm function. This is very small; two of these back to back would fit in a cigarette pack.Pretty good for voice radio; less so for music. Highest volume setting can barely be heard through ear buds over the ambient sound of a transit bus on the freeway.Clock keeps pretty good time. Alarm can be set for buzzer or radio and is loud enough to wake me up.Chews up AAA batteries pretty quickly; if charge gets too low the stored time and preset stations will be erased when changing batteries , so I got a pack of rechargables and swap them out daily. While there is an AC power input, I haven't been able to find an adapter that fits it.Like having the ability to disable all the buttons so you don't inadvertently turn it on.Like the sleep function, which allows shutoff in ten minute increments from 90 to 10 minutes.

I love this radio. It is easy to listen to my favorite stations. I use rechargeable batteries and can change them without needing to re enter my station presets or the time.I use it all day long, so in about 3 or 4 months the on/off button begins to require several presses to work. For the price, I consider 3 to 4 months of heavy use to be very, very good!My only complaint is the alarm. If I put the radio in my pocket, the alarm is constantly getting accidentally turned on. WHY does ANYONE want an alarm (or even the time) on a radio????????? I ONLY want FM and AM!!!!! NO ALARM! NO TIME!

Works great.Good reception.Good to have on the goAnd for emergency outages.Very small. Easy to take with you.

I hang it on the back of my lawn chair, when sitting and fishing from shore. I like it.

It works, but finding stations and returning to them is not simple.

Tuning knob broken reception not good

I love being able to carry it so easily wherever I go - traveling, walking, bicycling or working in my yard. I can listen to my favorite broadcasts easily. It is simple to operate & has a good sound. I'm very pleased with it.
