Does this product also contain sucrose?** A: I have been feeding Probios granules to an IR horse for years without problems-- the Probios paste-in-a-tube (not granules) contains sucrose (sugar) and the sucrose filled paste did cause problems with just a half tube. I contacted the mfg many years ago about the granules re: sugar just in case the label was misleading, they said this product is sugar free. Few vets seem to know that the granules are safe for IR horses. **Q: I've been mixing the 'dispersible powder' form of this in with my layer feed for my hens. Do you think 'this' form (feed granules) would work better?** A: I use this for my laying hens as it is more economical to buy than the powder form. There aren't specific dosing instructions for chickens on the container, so I use the ones from the first container of powder that I purchased and the instructions on the container for horses, cows, and pigs are identical on both container, as are the ingredients.
