I think I first learned about this pillow when it was reviewed on Lifehacker. I don't share their enthusiasm.In general, I think this is a pretty good pillow but definitely not worth its price.Cooling: I can detect a slight cooling difference. But it isn't significant enough to make any difference for over-heaters like me.Size (length): Quite small. I don't particularly mind that but if you move around a lot, you might.Size (thickness): This is the main reason why I can't recommend this pillow. The pillow is simply way too thin even for a modest head (I'm 5'6" and weight 135 lbs). One you place your head on it, it's fine -- but a few seconds later, the weight of your head will depress the pillow to about the thickness of a sheet of paper.It's really too bad, because it defeats the point of having a side pillow -- that is, keeping proper, comfortable spinal alignment. It is thin enough that your head dips down significantly. I'm baffled by why they made it so thin. Putting a pillow underneath it isn't very comfortable because you have to position it in a way that negates the whole shoulder-hole benefit of the pillow.Bottom line: This is a pretty comfortable pillow and there is a slight cooling sensation. But it's way too thin -- it seems to me it should be *at least* twice as thick to be useful. So I find it to be unusable and worth about half the advertised price.

... and I've owned a bunch. I originally purchased the HIBR Side Pillow direct from HIBR for my wife, who loves hers. On her recommendation, I decided to purchase one for myself and Prime was as convenient as anything else, so I bought mine from Amazon for the same price. I've been sleeping on it for a month or two now (wife has had hers several months longer). It is supportive without being too firm and it is soft without being mushy. It stays cooler than most other pillows and retains its shape, which is a big deal where pillows are concerned. During unboxing, it looked like it should may be be a little larger (more "large pillow sized"), but in practical use, it is the exact right size. I would absolutely recommend this or any other HIBR product to anyone needing a new pillow (or anything else they make).

I would say it's ok; but since it's specifically designed for *cooling*, I can safely say it miserably fails at that. Doesn't get overly HOT; but doesn't cool and not great at spreading heat away from head.

Arrived without any paperwork in the box. It was all squished up in the packaging, but it seemed to restore back to shape after it was unwrapped awhile. My husband says he loves it, and he is very particular.

For the price it should be 2, preferably 3 times the thickness. I've seen travel pillows bigger. I should not have to have to prop my pillow up to my head with my arm. Otherwise it is soft and comfortable and the cool gel seems to keep the foam from trapping too much heat that it becomes uncomfortable. I wouldn't say it actually keeps you cool. (smallest, flatest pillow vertical to others in photo is the HIBR). Definitely NOT A 70$ PILLOW.AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, DESPITE BUNCH OF CRAP IN THE BOX CLAIMINGIF ANYTHING WRONG CONTACT THEM TO "MAKE IT RIGHT"... THEY'RE JUST INTERESTED IN RIPPING YOU OFF.

Did not solve my stiff neck problem. Kept but ordered My Pillow

Love it, the cooling side really works. It almost a strange sensation like you put icyhot on the side of your face but in the case a good way. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
