Tricella Liif 7 Green Smart Pillbox with Family Notifications

I live in France and I bought this pillbox for my mother as I wanted To be sure she takes her pills and I could get noticed directly by the pillbox.I was pleased that I could by the pillbox and have it shipped to France because I could not find this kind of product anywhere else.When I received the pillbox I found out my mother would need a smartphone with wifi and Bluetooth but her phone is just a simple phone.I found a tricella wifi hub mentionned in the internet but I could not find where To buy it.This is the first time I've contacted the customer service through facebook messenger. First comment : this is not easy to find out how to contact the customer service.Then through messenger I got an answer really fast and I did as advised and used an old smartphone without sim card as the wifi hub was not available yet.I contacted again the customer service because even when my mum took her pills I didn't get any notice. They advised to keep the smartphone plugged into the charger and to check bluetooth and wifi connection. After reassociating the pillbox it worked well and I got the first notice.This pillbox is easy to use, beautiful and not expensive.Features I would like To have :- ability to block the individual boxes to avoid the opening before the time- ability to take one individual box when sleeping out one night- ability to have the light on for the box of the day- ability to have the history of the time when the pill were taken in the app for familyTo sum up this is a really good product with an amazing customer service.I am looking forward to seeing updates for the application and other features for the pillbox as those listed above.

It worked fine for several weeks, then it failed. So I changed the battery, it seemed to work for a couple days and then died. Now I've put fresh battery in and it is completely dead. For this much money I would think it could function longer. I delayed doing a return, thinking it just needed a battery, AND believing that my person was not compliant with his meds. It really let me down!

Pros - clear compartments that make it easy to see which ones have pills inside. This helps when elderly patients need reminders which box to take next. The compartments are large enough for several pills. There is a light that goes on when the compartment is openedCons - the app is not useful. It should give a log of the time that the compartment is opened. I have watched my mother over video open and close the drawer but yet and hour later I still get a notification that she has not taken her dose. Then the app will eventually change to show the next dose is to be taken the following day.If the timer is set for a given time, the compartment should lock until that time. The light should turn on in the box for the pills to take that day when the alarm that has been set reaches its time.

I bought this for my 89 yo grandmother, so I also had to buy her an iphone to run the app and sync with her pillbox. Once we did that, there were a few times when it seemed to go offline and we needed to reboot (take out the battery).Now that it's working, I get regular updates to my phone as to whether or not she's taken her pills (opened the box). Now the only issue is that she has another pill she needs to take at a different time of day, so I cant use the box to monitor those. Overall this is useful and I'm glad I can keep track of her without having to stop by every day and check her pillbox.

This is exactly what we've been looking for. It is a 7 day pillbox that automatically registers (via Bluetooth) that you've taken your pills and also automatically reassures family members that they've been taken (all via an app). Any issues or bugs with (that other reviews have reported) the app must have been fixed bc it's been working just fine. It is also nice that this pillbox can simply be manually checked.Points for minor improvements: It would be nice if there was an alarm which told the user if they were taking too many doses/the wrong day. I'd also like to see an adherence graph on the app as well.We are thrilled with this simple yet important device!

Simply not worth all that money. I got it as a gift however it only reminds them once to take their medicine. I think it would be worth it if it could do both but to do both you have to buy two... simply not worth it

I originally had some trouble with the pillbox and was ready to give this a one star. But after reaching out to customer support (on a weekend!) they responded right away and now the pillbox works great. As it turned out, my bluetooth was turned off on my phone. The pillbox even works when I don’t have the app open.
