No big pocket. The pocket is simply the folding of the bottom half of the apron. Things fall out when stooping or bending. I purchased a joey for my daughter and the full length one for myself. I sewed the bottom closed on mine. If I don't pick tomatoes I can get a mornings picking it it now.

Saw this item on Home & Family. Bought 2 for Christmas presents. The recipients thought they were great. After I purchased thru Prime I looked at Roo.com the makers website. They were only $32 or 33 each. I didn't check about shipping. I want to buy more of these aprons, but will check Roo.com to compare pricing.

I bought this fo rmy mom for her birthday and it was an absolute HIT! She LOVES it and already uses it for more than just gathering. My whole life she used the end of her t-shirt as a picking apron. Not anymore!
