Fireworks Popcorn Orchard Blossom Popcorn, 15-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

I once purchased the sampler pack of Fireworks Popcorn, which includes 12 varieties of popcorn from baby white to massive, yellow, movie theater style popcorn. Sadly, this sampler is no longer available on Amazon--it allowed me to try out a whole lot of popcorn and choose my favorite, which was the Orchard Blossom variety. The flavor is perfect, and is very tasty with only a hint of salt, or seasoned with anything from Kernel Seasons popcorn seasoning.This variety has fewer hulls than most. The popcorn is crunchy, with a bit of chewiness at the end which gives it a substantial feel. The flavor is slightly buttery and with a hint of nuttiness. I found that only a few kernels were un-popped, many fewer than the cheap, store brand that I had previous to discovering 'premium' popcorn.All the Fireworks brand popcorns are good, but as I said, this is my favorite, and is no a staple at my house.

This popcorn had good reviews so I ordered it. I was looking for hulless (or low hull) popcorn. The hulls in this popcorn were delicate, not hard and sharp as most popcorn. As for the taste, I don't know if it is a matter of taste for this popcorn but I didn't care for it at all. It really has an unusual taste - I will not be using the rest of the popcorn. Amazon was very nice though, they refunded my money when I contacted them about how awful the taste was.

Did not find product to live up to other reviewer's positive assessments.I found the kernels popped up too small;I prefer alarger kernel,such as Pop Secret's Jumbo Corn.The flavor was good.

Got really fed up with the hulls from the grocery store popcorn getting stuck between my teeth and under my gums; sometimes they would irritate for a day before I could find them -- to the point of not being worth it to eat popcorn.Problem totally solved with Fireworks. Also, it comes out completely crisp, and the taste is better. Don't see why the size of the popped kernels would matter. Kinda pricy at 19 cts./oz. (otherwise 5 stars), but I guess that's the cost of not having the dental hassles. Bulk packaging would be better than all the dumb little plastic bottles.April 15, 2001: Used it all. While waiting for another Amazon delivery, we figured we would use up the leftover generic, grocery popcorn. Now you can REALLY tell the difference. Haven't eaten cardboard since I was a kid, and now I remember why I stopped doing that. Yuk! Threw it away; will wait.

I've tried several varieties of the Fireworks Popcorn and I have to say that this is my favorite. It pops right up, hardly any duds and very few hulls. Popcorn has a very nice flavor too, much better than the kernels sold in the grocery store. I make it using a stovetop popcorn popper with a little bit of coconut oil and top with melted butter and popcorn salt.

This is the worst black popcorn I have ever had. The flavor is boring, only about 70% of the kernels pop and it's supposed to be fresh (although it didn't taste like it was). I was going to return it but found out that Amazon's policy on edibles is that they are not returnable. This is the last time I will buy this brand popcorn or from this seller (rip me off once shame on you. Rip me off twice, shame on me).

Ok, but won't buy again

I do love my popcorn, and I have it as a healthy snack most afternoons. I use the "popcorn bowl in the microwave" method to prepare the popcorn...that way I control the fat and salt, other additives, in my food.This has been a very nice popcorn. We have consumed most of our first order at this point in time. A medium weight type of corn, I would say. There is some hull left after popping, which I like. The popped kernel is white and fluffy. Not small, but not the biggest I have seen, either.A good choice, you will not be disappointed. I gave it 4 stars...pretty much a top-shelf product.
