A very nice model at a very good price
Unfortunately, 21st Century Toys is no longer making these. If you like WWII fighters, you should get one while you can. This is a carefully detailed, good scale model. The details are correct, as far as I've been able to determine. It stands comparison with die-cast models costing at least five times as much. Only the small gap between the two halves of the fuselage gives it away. A friend who is a finicky collector of die-cast models was very happy to get one of these from me. I am happy to have it in my collection.

Nice model
Nice model-quality rendition of the Mustang with easy assembly. I'm not sure that the color scheme of my plane absolutely matched the picture but I may be wrong. My one complaint is this was bought to match 1:32 tanks we have and it looks like it's slightly bigger than it should be but whatever. My kids like it and enjoy playing with the adjustable landing gear. Docked one point after the fact as my kids knocked out one propeller blade and part of the canopy within a week of assembly.

Worth the $$
These are nicely painted and finished for the price. If you grew up building them and just want to enjoy one, buy a rebuilt model like this.

Much better than I thought it would be.
I bought this to enhance a WW2 gun camera display and it suits the purpose just fine. The exterior is very well detailed, moreso than I thought it would. To consider this a toy is an understatement. The panel lines are engraved, the markings are painted (not decals) and the cockpit interior is finely detailed as well, including gunsight glass and the data envelope in the pilot's headrest. The landing gear doors open, the gear locks down, the wheels roll, and the propeller spins. The landing light cover is clear plastic. The assembly is simple: everything snaps into place. The kit comes in two major pieces - the fuselage and the wings - which snap together. Some additional bits come in a plastic sleeve under the packaging: a second cockpit molded in the "open" position, the scoop "lip" for the air intake, and bomb shackles for the early-model drop tanks. These all snap onto the airplane, if you wish to include them in your display.I did notice two shortcomings to the kit. First, the absence of the radio mast behind the cockpit. This can be built using excess plastic if you really want to detail it up. Anyone who's built a scale model can cobble one together. Second, it's missing the portal for the gun camera (which is why I bought the kit in the first place) but this can be fixed by drilling a hole in the portside leading edge between the gear and the fuselage. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the flaps and rudder move; something I don't normally see in toy kits. The picture on the left is how it comes in the box, wired to a plastic tray with the wires wrapped in protective plastic so as not to mar the paint. The picture on the right is the finished product. Elapsed time: about a minute. The "closed" cockpit and a spare bomb shackle are sitting on top of the box by the engine.

Great pre-built airplane to put on display
So I am older and bought this for my son who wanted to build some models without really reading the description. I failed to notice that it came fully built but that made the decision to keep it for myself and put it on the toy shelf at work easy. Now people come in and play with it while we ponder work related problems. It a stress reliever at this point but its a nice one. Very well detailed too.

Great Model
This is a beautiful P-51 with a lot on very small print and detail. For the price it was well worth it. I highly recommend this model for anyone's collection.
