It is difficult to unfold and lock into place to use and also difficult to collapse again - easy to pinch fingers
The three wheels does make it easier to go up the steps. However, the cloth baskets are difficult to load with groceries. The handle is much too high and is awkward to tilt back to pull. It is difficult to unfold and lock into place to use and also difficult to collapse again - easy to pinch fingers. I would not buy it again. It is not worth this amount of money. I will continue to use my wire grocery basket.

What a disappointment!
I have owned the Upcart for over a year. Bought it because my physical therapist was convinced it would be the answer to all my problems getting groceries into the house up a few stairs. Otherwise, I'm facing moving! Three different people, all handy and good at problem-solving, made the Upcart look safe. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE IT, THE D**N thing collapses when loaded with groceries! So in the end it's waaaaaay more a problem. Not only is it totally useless and does not deliver what it promises, but it causes more problems than I had with just lugging grocery bags one at a time. I'm going to pursue a refund, otherwise I'm going to aggressively plaster this review all over the internet.

up cast 'deluxe'
upon receiving on I was so excited .Then on my first use,I was immediately disappointed.I couldnt get it to stay locked & it kept collapsing.I was just about to return it,when my daughters came & tried it & it latched! Just think it needed a little "tweaking,or loosening'" now we love it.I bought this one instead of the original, because the reviews I read said the only negative thing about that model, was the handle was too short for most.this one is much longer & my husband is 6'4" and has no complaints. I love the seperate compartment.I do hope they come out with one that doesnt have the 3 individual baskets ,so we can use it for laundry.I have the old fashioned "old lady cart with the standard wheels & this one has those new wonderful almost self climbing wheels.Just ideal for us.

Four Stars
Really nice, but could be a little more sturdy.

It’s a mixed bag of pros & cons
PRO: It’s tall enough for all of us. We use the upper + bottom pockets only because once you fill the top one, the middle one is crushed. However, we fit several cloth grocery bags in the top & bottom pockets & it’s easy to pull the cart up a couple of steps & into the kitchen. Saves time / trips yo &from car. If you have 1-3 heavy bags, putting them in the top pocket means less bending over for you. Most other carts don’t offer that. Wheels seem to be good.CON: Price. You have to balance your bags a bit. The edges of the pockets slip off the wire frames — just a bad design. It is difficult to fold this thing up completely, so you need enough room in your garage to leave it open 24/7. Can’t remove the bag to use cart alone.RULING: Great idea if hauling, bending & lifting groceries isn’t something you enjoy. Execution could be SO much better (Why haven’t they updated this thing?!) Still Beats hauling in heavy grocery bags, etc. by hand.

Returning
The cart does not securely locked on the back of the cart. Not using for that reason very disappointing I was really hope the bag work. It does go up and down steps easily, if i never loaded it with any items.

I was expecting a very well-made and heavy-duty product and received a pretty flimsy plastic product
This product is poorly made and I couldn't get it to stay upright, keep the wheels in a locked position and, on my first attempt to use it, the wires popped out of the baskets. It just doesn't work. Finally, for what it is, it is extremely expensive. I was expecting a very well-made and heavy-duty product and received a pretty flimsy plastic product. I am very disappointed.

Although user must be careful to insure wheels are in place and there is no overloading, this product does the job. Anyone who is careless with equipment or tries to stretch the limit should continue to carry groceries. We have 6 steps separated by four foot landings and we are careful to bring the cart to each step before pulling it up, but it certainly performs and beats having to make several trips to and from the car.
