Perfect fit for my ball peen hammer head.

Used it.
The grain of this handle was perpendicular to the throw of the hammer. Would have liked the grain to run parallel, but I needed a new handle so, we'll see how it performs with a 1 lb. head. Replaced the finish with boiled linseed oil.

Quality handle BUT doesn't have wax finish
High quality dense handle. Straight and well shaped which allowed my ball pein head to slide on and seat perfectly. Only complaint is that the main reason I bought this handle over others was because it said it had a wax finish, but it has a normal lacquer finish like any other handle. I was hoping with this handle I would be able to skip the process of stripping the factory lacquer finish in order to coat it in BLO but I was wrong. Not a huge deal just slightly bothered by the misleading description.

Solid handle, Made in The USA
Great wooden handle. hard to find item in the local building supply stores. Replacement handle for a small weight hammer head. Just needed a little shaving on the head slot to fit and back in business in a short while. Made in the USA!

It didn't take much time to fit the handle. It comes with new wedges which is very helpful.
