Medicom Toys Mafex's Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens Rey Action Figure
Here is a pretty solid figure release from Medicom’s Mafex line, and here we get Rey (no last name… yet) from Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. Now a lot of people have had issues with Mafex and qc problems but for the most part, or at least for me, I’ve not had any issues with their figures since the Dark Knight Batman 2.0 2 years ago. I’ve gotten a few of their Star Wars figures now, and I’ve not had any qc issues so at this rate, I’ll keep grabbing any good looking offerings from Mafex at the right price. If you liked Force Awakens and are looking for the best Rey figure in this scale to get, look no further this might be your Rey. So what’s in the box?ReyScavenger Alternate HeadScavenger backpackQuarterstaffAnakin’s Lightsaber (Blade pegs into the emitter nozzle)NN-14 Blaster pistolX-Wing Pilot HelmetFists L/RScavenger gloved gripping hands L/RLightsaber/quarterstaff gripping hands L/RForce gesture hands L/RTrigger hand RHilt grabbing hand LDynamic figure standWe basically get everything Rey wears or touches in the film. I'm super pleased with how loaded this figure is with accessories. Mafex could easily have released a Scavenger Rey separate from a Starkiller Base Rey or something, so I’m really glad they added so much stuff. And there are certain accessories they didn’t need to include at all so getting things like the Dosmit Raeh X-Wing helmet that Rey wears on Jakku in one scene before meeting BB-8 is pretty awesome. And just like the figure, all of the accessories are highly detailed/sculpted and painted. The X-Wing helmet splits into two right down the middle and can easily be put on/taken off the figure. Love the detailing and paint deco on this helmet, it’s a reall nice addition and I like the orange translucent plastic for the visor. The Scavenger head easily pegs on the neck joint and also has a cool translucent color to the eye pieces. Rey doesn’t wear this look long, she had the head wrap on with the face mask removed for a bigger portion of the Jakku scenes but who cares, I’m glad we got the scavenger head at all, even if for basically a few shots in the film. The backpack is also highly detailed and painted really well, and wasn’t nearly as big a pain to get on the figure as I thought it would be. The Lightsaber hilt, the quarterstaff, the NN-14 blaster are all very well done and fit in the figures hands well and swapping out the hands is also a breeze. The quarterstaff has a great faux leather strap rather than hard plastic or rubber, that and the Lightsaber has nice little highlights all over it.The figure itself is as well done as the accessories. The head sculpt isn’t 100% dead on accurate to Daisy Ridley who plays Rey, but in certain angles it looks just like her. And as always, this figure looks better in person, the sculpt, the paint, it’s all nicer in hand. There is a really nice gradient to the skin tone of the figure, she has freckles or dirt on her face that don’t show up in pics, even the hands have a natural skin tone gradient to them. The sculpt work is all there, the costume is accurate and detailed well, the triple bun hair style, the belt and the pouches and even her boots all look great. And as far as articulation goes, you wont have a single issue getting Rey to 2 hand hold the saber or her quarterstaff, you can get her in great and dynamic action poses. And I was technically able to get her to sit down but the rubber parts of her costume keep it from looking natural. But the waist and legs have fantastic range of motion. My only complaint really about the figure is the shoulders, unlike Bandai’s Figuarts line that often utilizes a piece in the shoulder to hide the butterfly joint, it doesn’t look Mafex went that direction. So in certain poses there isn’t a problem, but when moving the shoulders down or across the figure’s body, you get some weird gapage in the shoulders that make it look like something is missing. A small gripe and mostly unnoticeable.I saw the pre-order for this and wasn’t interested. I saw some completed and in-hand photos later that changed my mind, and when this dropped to just $50, I figured I’d take a shot and grab it and boy am I glad I did. For those of you who are perfectly fine with the $15 Black Series Rey just like me, you may not need to splurge on a $50 import figure with a few more accessories. But if you’re like me and cannot control your Star Wars mania and just want the best, most accurate looking and fully loaded fun Star Wars figures you can get your hands on, this is a fantastic piece to own. I think Mafex wastes a lot of space with their packaging, I’d like to see them cut out all the wasted space and go to a smaller box like Bandai’s Figuarts, but I am also really glad that Mafex ALWAYS includes stands with their figures, so they get a pass on the bulky box. I also appreciate how loaded this figure is with accessories, some domestic and import figures are so light with accessories so it’s nice to get a figure like this, feels like a Deluxe figure almost. If you love Rey, if you love Star Wars or Force Awakens, I can’t recommend this enough. This figure comes FULLY APPROVED

Beautiful doll but certainly not for small children as it has many little pieces. it is a very good replica of the character but thought it was a little small.

Best Rey figure
Best. Rey. Figure. At least in this scale. I know this is a pretty pricey figure, but it's definitely worth it. I absolutely love the look of the figure (it looks better in hand). The likeness to Daisy Ridley isn't perfect, but this is definitely Rey and not some generic female. The articulation is great, letting you pose her to your heart's content. However, what really makes this is the accessories. Pretty much anything Rey has touched is included (ok, with the exception of the food portions). The only drawback is that she's too tall for the Black Series 6'' line, but otherwise if you're just looking for a quality Rey figure this is it!

DO NOT BUY.

ナカナカ良いです。
私がいろいろと(レイ)フィギュアを見た中で一番本人に顔が似てる様な気がしました。ただ各、関節の接合部が取れやすいのが残念なところです。
