Hero Cosmetics Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen SPF 30, 1.69 Fl Oz

Love, love, love. This sunscreen is fantastic! I wish this was around when I was in my teens, 20's & 30's because then I would have worn sunscreen & not have developed the signs of aging & hyperpigmentation that currently are the bane of my existence! This sunscreen is ideal for those who have oily skin, have acne, oily skin, do not like the heaviness sunscreen or get breakout because of sunscreen or have problems with the white cast left by mineral sunscreen. I have all the above problems of oily skin, breakout with a lot of sunscreens, have dealt with the white cast of other sunscreens because I have medium to tan olive skin. I have to say, I was worried when I first squeezed the product out of the tube because it comes out in a pale green shade. I thought "Uh-Oh." Hero Force Shield goes on without a color or coverage, but the back of the tube says that the green tint to their sunscreen helps to balance out any redness in your complexion. But when I applied this to my face and gently rubbed in (does not require vigorous rubbing into your face) the green tint of this sunscreen disappeared, left a nice, lightweight & breathable finish. It worked nicely with my lightweight makeup application. I have LOTS of different kinds of sunscreen. I am embarrassed to say that I probably have close to 20 different sunscreens just for my face as I am always on the quest to find the perfect sunscreen (I realize perfect is subjective). This is one of most inexpensive facial sunscreens that I have purchased. Of my collection of facial sunscreen, only Australian Gold is cheaper than this. My collection of facial sunscreens range in price from $7 to $75. Hero Force Shield would be perfect IMHO if only it was spf 50. But that is just my personal preference. Most dermatologist say an Spf 30 is sufficient. I will continue to use & repurchase this By the way, it has a lovely matte finish but is not drying....it feels moisturizing without being heavy or greasy. I do not think this is waterproof or sweatproof so probably not ideal for a day at the beach. Anyway, if are looking for a lightweight, breathable sunscreen that works well with or without makeup & does not cause acne breakouts, I recommend that you try this!

I have rosacea, psoriasis, and in general very sensitive skin. I’ve been trying to get into the habit of wearing sunscreen daily to help prevent aging but I couldn’t find one that didn’t break out my face with little rosacea bumps. A google search found this one and I was intrigued because it’s tinted green to combat redness and it’s a physical zinc sunscreen, which is all I can use on my face and can be harder to find. I’ve been using this several months now with no issues, no breakouts, no complaints. One pump mixed with my facial moisturizer is enough for my whole face/neck and it doesn’t feel great or oily AT ALL. I’m not sure how they did it, but this stuff is amazing. I’m still on my first bottle so a little goes a long way. Highly recommend!

There is a bit of a white cast, but it gets absorbed with time. It does have a very minimal light green hue (not really noticeable on skin), isn’t too heavy, and has that distinctive powdery smell. It’s not water resistant, does not recommend high sun exposure, but overall great indoors and with indirect sunlight.

This is hands down one of my favorite sunscreens I’ve tried. It blends into my skin so easily and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling or noticeable white cast. I love that it feels lightweight and comfortable enough to wear every day, even under makeup. I have sensitive, breakout-prone skin, and this sunscreen has been great for me. It doesn’t clog my pores or cause irritation like some other sunscreens I’ve used. It leaves my skin looking smooth and protected without feeling heavy. I also love the texture—it feels more like skincare than a traditional sunscreen. I’ll definitely continue repurchasing this!

This is my favorite sunscreen! I love the mineral formula and the slight green tint is perfect for wearing daily without looking clammy and helping neutralize a little redness. It's lightweight and non-irritating, one of the only brands that I don't break out while wearing. I've already repurchased once and recommended it to friends and family. It's also hydrating, so I don't have to worry about wearing a second moisturizer and I don't have to worry about it clogging my pores. It also comes off well with my cleanser, unlike some other mineral formulas that can be difficult to remove.

After doing LOTS of research for a mineral sunscreen, I tried Hero Force Shield Superlight SPF 30. I tried it for 3 weeks and here's what I found... Unfortunately, this just didn't achieve HG status for me. Having sensitive skin that revolts at the mere mention of ingredients in most chemical sunscreens (e.g. "Oct" and "Oxy" and "Avo" additions), I was seeking a mineral sunscreen that might actually make my skin happy. Sadly, this sunscreen seemed to make my slightly dry skin even more so, sucking up all the moisture of my pre-sunscreen prep. (And ya know THAT was a bummer!) Also, dealing with slight rosacea, I thought the small amount of green tint may help mask any redness; however, once it absorbed into my skin, it really didn't have much affect. That may also contribute to this sunscreen not working on all skin tones, though I can't say for certain. (As a reference point, I'm fair-skinned, Fitzpatrick 6/7.) Lastly, being scent-sensitive, (yes, I'm quite the unique little pony), I found that the subtle plant-esque scent was more pronounced than I anticipated. Not migraine inducingly so - at least not for me - but still not as plesant as I'd hoped in comparision to other products I've used with "plant scents". Pros: + Great sun protection, especially in combination with other SPF makeup + Nice pump tube + Mineral, broad spectrum SPF Cons: - Personal experience on already slightly dry skin was that it exacerbated the dryness - Overall color may not work on all skin tones - Persistent plant-scent was unpleasant in the long run for this shnoz

This face lotion is incredible!! I have overly sensitive skin and the product I used to use changed ingredients and caused a major irritation hence my purchase of Hero face lotion. I based my purchasing of this product on other people’s reviews. The product is a light tint of green. I pump 2 small squirts of this lotion onto my hands and thoroughly rub all over my face. I have not experienced any breakouts, bumps or dryness to my face since I started to use this 3 weeks ago. I have not received any sunburning either so the sunscreen works. So far, this is my new go to lotion!!

I have bought this sunscreen 14 times and I'll continue to buy it!! If they ever discontinued this I'm buying 10+ boxes!!! No smell at all and feels like a lotion, the green tint dissipates pretty fast leaving behind a soft glow!

Krém se příjemně nanáší, pokud se pořádně rozetře nezanechává vůbec žádné šmouhy. Vůně nic moc, ale jinak jsem velmi spokojená, mám periorální dermatitidu a tento krém mé pleti sedne skvěle. Velmi dporučuji.
