I was very surprised how well this little antenna worked. We originally bought an outdoor antenna and put it up outside. We get twice as many channels with this one than we did with the old one. If you buy one test it on your window at different heights. We had it about 12 lower and higher than it is and got 1/2 as many channels as we do. It's surprising that only moving it up or down a little how much it can change the reception. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we connected a splitter to it for the downstairs TV and it doesn't get 1/2 the channels the upstairs TV does. Just goes to show you don't have to pay big bucks to watch TV.

It says 50 mile range. Although it picks up a few channels they come in and out. Definitely not 50 mile range but for the money what can you expect? It picks up a few channels on a bedroom tv, that's all we wanted. If you're thinking this will replace your cable or be your only tv service you'll be disappointed.

Your Antenna is SO MUCH Better than I had hoped for. I was hoping to at least get the 4 local channels for news and weather, their towers were 40 miles away, but I opted for the 50 mile range Antenna just in case, and it picked up 71 channels!!! I am BLOWN away, that I get HDTV over the air!! It's been installed for a few days, and I LOVE IT. I live about 40 miles outside of Dallas, and I get full HDTV on all of the Local channels for FREE. The cable company wanted $25 a month for the local channels, no way. Definitely WORTH the cost. It shipped and was Delivered in only a few Days. Amazing Product!!

I previously had a smaller model that was stated up to 35 miles without being amplified. This one is at least twice the size and amplified, rated for 50 miles but only gets about half as many channels. I live just outside of Chicago, less than 40 miles from downtown. I'm completely disappointed. If I didn't pay so little to begin with, I'd complain and send it back! I completely followed the instructions and moved the thing all over creation. As I said, the smaller, unamplified unit was much better.

Not too bad of an antenna. Picked up 78 digital channels in Oakland, CA. Most come through fine. Have issues with one main channel which is kind of a bummer but not a buzz kill. Ok for the price.

I bought this a couple of weeks before Hurricane Irma. It was a life saver after we lost power and cable. We had a generator, but no tv was difficult with a houseful of kids and adults who had sought refuge at our home. Once I attached this antenna however we were able to pick up all of the local networks and some off brand stations. It was easy to attach and set up was very well explained. I bought 2 more for our other tvs. Ready for the next storm!

Simple enough to set up, but I am within 15 miles from 5 different towers in Austin, but no matter how I position it, this piece of crap doesn't get solid signal from any of them except FOX (yiiiiick!). Glad it was only $20, but what a waste!

The connection is cheap made and very difficult to twist it into the TV antenna connection.
