Gets Rid Of Insects
I got it to get rid of insects in the backyard and it worked! The only thing I don’t like it is the garlic smell. Also, I used it with Citronella oil. I think this combination works well to get rid of the white flies that were jumping off the grass.

Works great for hair and the garden, too!
I've always been curious about neem oil but it isn't always easy to find. I like that is bottle comes with a glass dropper so it is easier to control the dosage. Neem oil has many good applications. It has a earthy, woodsy scent. I've recently started mixing it with a carrier oil and using it on my scalp. I do feel that it helps as I can feel it working. It is supposed to help with dandruff and with hair growth. I have also tried it on my roses as neem oil help get rid of insects like aphids if you mix it with water and dishwashing soap. After four applications I have noticed a good reduction of pests. Next I want to spray it for fungus protection on my plants. There are so many fun uses with this product! The reason it is so versatile is because of its strong antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It reminds me of tea tree which I also love to use. For anyone who wants a more natural and less toxic way to improve their hair or their garden I highly recommend this product. The only issue is that the bottle states it is only good for 36 months from the packaging date. So just check to make sure it is still effective or you might be disappointed.

So Far, So Good- Odd Smell To Be Expected
So far I’m very happy with this Greenwood Essential Pure Neem Oil. This is actually my first time trying neem oil, so I can’t compare to other brands. I actually ordered it for my plants, because I read it can act as a natural pesticide.-Comes in a 30ml dark glass bottle with dropper lid-Brown, fairly thick, slightly sticky oil-Odd smell, not necessarily bad, but I have read that is to be expected-Cold pressed, undiluted-Apparently can be used for the skin. I have eczema which is particularly bad on my hands right now, so I am actually planning on trying this diluted with another oil on my hands in the near futureAs far as I can tell, this seems to be a good quality product and I have nothing negative to say. The smell might be off-putting to some, but that seems to just be the how neem oil is.I was devastated when I found aphids on some of my houseplants and I have been washing them and trying to treat them with this neem oil. So far, I have seen a drastic improvement. One of the plants seems to be completely aphid-free and the other has a couple that I see once in awhile and so I’m still working on it daily. I will continue to use this preventatively for all my plants. A quick google search will tell you how to use neem oil for your plants in this way.The only somewhat negative comment I will make is that the dropper is a little strange. Typically, I can squeeze the whole rubber part, but on the one I received, only the very tip can be squeezed (the rest is rigid) which is a little odd and makes it slightly harder to dispense drops- not a huge deal though, and so I don’t feel the need to deduct a star for that.I’ll be sure to update this review if any issues arise with my plants, but so far they seem to be tolerating this well. I’ll also be sure to update if I have any comments on whether or not this benefits my skin.I hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!

Good but Pricey
At $8.50 for 5ml ($1.70 per ml) the Greenwood Essential Oil is on the pricey side when compared to similar products - I recently ordered a different brand for Amazon that was the same quality but only cost $14.60 for 28.6ml ($0.51 Per ml). This product definitely smells like pure neem oil, which basically means it smells like burnt coffee grounds. I use this in connection with plant care. I used to buy premixed neem oil for controlling pests on my inside plants. Although convenient, premixed neem oil gets pretty expensive when using on large numbers of plants. I propagate hundreds of plants over the late-winter/early spring time-frame in an indoor area. The primary pest is the fungus gnat and once it's established it's near impossible to get rid of. I also tend to get some aphids on my roses. I mix small batches of neem oil spray, usually 16 oz at a time. I mix a fairly weak mixture since I'm using the spray on relatively young plants. I use Dr. Bronner peppermint soap as an emulsifier so the neem oil mixes with the water solution. I spray all of the plants regardless of infestation since they're all gonna have gnats sooner or later. Doesn't completely get rid of the fungus gnats but keeps the numbers down. This Greenwood oil is good but it's overpriced IMHO.

Exactly As Expected
I've been fooled in the past when ordering neem to only discover I'm sent a clear oil that has no scent & doesn't thicken (similar to coconut oil) when cool/cold. This oil, on the other hand is exactly what I expect when I order cold pressed neem.It is thick, yellowish brown, & it stinks to high heaven. It's a awful smell. That's neem folks. If it doesn't stink, get a refund.I mainly use neem on my young heirloom organic cotton plants to deter the aphids & the ants who milk them for their sweet nectar. Bugs hate neem. The well & truly hate it. It's great.Sometimes my cattle will get a cut in their hide from who the heck knows what. I mix tea tree oil with neem oil & apply every chance I get (my cattle are bottle raised Jersey dairy cattle so they are super docile & sweet). The minor cut will be loaded with annoying flying insects such as flies & gnats. The moment I apply the neem/tea tree mix, the bugs are gone. It's like magic. The problem is the cattle will lick, rub, & sweat it off, but still, it's amazing stuff & the tea tree helps the injury heal & cleanses it.I also use neem for my own handmade lotions for treating various skin aliments in humans.Real honest to goodness neem is amazeballs & this stuff by Greenwood Essential is no exception. Overall, I am more than pleased.
